Dependable Direct Power Mirror for Toyota Corolla 2003–2008 Driver Side, Smooth Black Direct-Fit Replacement

Dependable Direct Power Mirror is a direct-fit replacement driver-side mirror for Toyota Corolla CE models 2003–2008, offering OEM-alike fit and power adjustment in a smooth black finish.

If your driver-side exterior mirror is cracked, malfunctioning, or simply missing power adjustment, this Dependable Direct unit replaces OE part 87940-02380 (Partslink TO1320178). Built to meet OEM specifications using durable materials, it delivers the same mounting points and wiring pattern expected on the 2003–2008 Toyota Corolla CE so installation is straightforward for DIYers and mechanics alike.

How does this mirror ensure compatibility with my 2003–2008 Corolla?

This replacement mirrors the original mounting and electrical connector layout used on the Corolla CE so it aligns with factory door holes and control wiring. Always confirm fit by matching the Partslink and OE reference numbers before ordering.

• Replaces OE #: 87940-02380 and Partslink #: TO1320178
• Designed for Toyota Corolla CE model years 2003–2008
• Driver-side specific — not universal or passenger-side
• Checks: mounting points, wiring plug, and mirror features match your vehicle

What are the main features and how do they affect daily use?

The mirror is a power-operated, non-folding unit with a smooth black plastic finish and a plastic base. Power adjustment gives you fingertip control from inside the cabin; the non-folding design keeps the assembly stable and simple to maintain.

• Operation Type: Power — adjust mirror position electronically
• Folding Type: Non-folding — fixed housing for consistent alignment
• Color Finish: Smooth black — ready to paint if you prefer a body-color look
• Base Type: Plastic — corrosion-resistant and lightweight

How difficult is installation and what should I prepare?

Installation is typically moderate in difficulty and can be completed with basic hand tools; disconnect the battery, remove the interior door panel access cover, unplug the factory connector, swap the mounting bolts, and reconnect. If you’re uncomfortable with door trim removal or electrical connectors, a professional installer will handle it quickly.

• Tools: screwdriver set, socket set, trim tool recommended
• Procedure: disconnect battery, remove door panel trim, unplug connector, unbolt old mirror, bolt in new mirror
• Time: roughly 30–60 minutes for an experienced DIYer
• Tip: verify electrical connector pins and test power adjustment before final reassembly

What should I expect in terms of quality and durability?

Dependable Direct mirrors are produced to meet OEM standards using quality materials that balance durability and cost. While not sold as original factory parts, these replacements are engineered to provide reliable everyday performance and proper fitment.

• Manufactured to meet OEM specifications for fit and function
• Durable plastic base resists rust and road corrosion
• Quality control checks on mounting and electrical compatibility
• Cost-effective alternative to higher-priced OE assemblies

Who is this for: This Dependable Direct Power Mirror is for Toyota Corolla CE owners (2003–2008) who need a like-for-like driver-side replacement with power adjustment and reliable fit. It suits DIY mechanics, body shops seeking an economical OE-replacement option, and drivers restoring or maintaining their Corolla without paying OEM pricing. Confirm your vehicle’s OE or Partslink number before purchase to ensure a correct match.
