DEWAY WAYPUMP07 Fuel Transfer Pump — D-Battery Cordless, Extra-Long Hose, 2.6 GPM

The DEWAY Fuel Transfer Pump WAYPUMP07 is a battery-powered, hand-free liquid transfer pump that moves gasoline, diesel, kerosene, light oils and non-potable water at up to 2.6 gallons per minute using two D batteries and an extra-long suction tube.

This compact electric siphon replaces manual lifting and siphoning for refilling and emptying tanks, jugs and portable containers. Designed for homeowners, mechanics and outdoor enthusiasts, the WAYPUMP07 delivers consistent flow for roadside refills, generator fueling, equipment maintenance and other tasks where corded power isn’t available. Its long suction tube reaches well into tall gas cans and large water jugs so you don’t need to tip heavy containers.

How fast will this pump transfer fuel or water?

The WAYPUMP07 provides a steady flow rated at roughly 2.6 gallons per minute under typical conditions. That flow rate speeds small refills and drainage tasks without the complexity of larger electric pumps.

• Flow rate: ~2.6 GPM for gasoline, diesel and light oils.
• Battery operation supports continuous runs until batteries deplete.
• Consistent output suitable for small tanks, jugs and portable generators.

What power source and run-time can I expect?

This unit runs on two D-type 1.5V batteries, providing cordless convenience where AC power or vehicle power isn't available. Battery life depends on battery brand and load, but the simple on/off switch makes operation straightforward for short, intermittent transfers.

• Requires: 2 x D (1.5V) batteries (not included).
• Portable: no cords, perfect for field or garage use.
• Easy control: single switch for immediate start/stop.

Which liquids can I safely transfer with the WAYPUMP07?

The pump is rated for gasoline, kerosene, diesel, light oils and non-potable water, making it versatile for fuel and basic liquids. Avoid strong corrosives and acids, and it’s best practice to dedicate a pump to one fluid type to prevent cross-contamination.

• Compatible: gasoline, diesel, kerosene, light oils, non-potable water.
• Not recommended: strong acids, corrosive chemicals or potable water without cleaning.
• Tip: label the pump if you dedicate it to a single fluid to avoid mixing.

How do I use and maintain the pump for reliable performance?

Operation is simple: insert the long suction tube into the source container, place the discharge hose into the receiving vessel, install fresh batteries and flip the switch. Rinse or flush the pump when changing fluids and store it dry to prolong component life.

• Start-up: insert suction tube fully into source container before switching on.
• Maintenance: flush with compatible liquid after use; avoid water for fuel-only pumps.
• Storage: remove batteries for long-term storage to prevent corrosion.

Who this is for: The DEWAY WAYPUMP07 is aimed at homeowners, small-fleet operators, RV and boat owners, mechanics and off-road enthusiasts who need a portable, battery-run solution for topping off generators, ATVs, lawn equipment and other small tanks. If you frequently move gasoline, diesel or light oils away from a power source and want to avoid heavy lifting, this pump offers a simple, transportable option.
