If you need a simple, durable fan to move air in a vehicle, workshop, or small commercial space, the Dorman 7-941 offers a compact footprint, two-speed control, and multiple mounting options. It’s designed for easy installation without special tools and provides steady ventilation when roof vents or air conditioning are not practical. The unit is rugged enough for automotive environments and versatile enough for household or light industrial uses.

How will this fan improve interior airflow in my RV or truck?

This fan produces directional airflow to reduce hot spots and circulate fresh air across the cabin when parked or driving. Its compact housing and adjustable mounting allow you to aim the airflow where it’s needed most.

• Two-speed switch lets you choose gentle circulation or stronger airflow.
• Mounts to dash panel, side panel, or other flat secure surfaces.
• Compact design fits tight spaces without obstructing controls or visibility.

Is installation difficult and what tools do I need?

Installation is straightforward and requires no specialized tools for most standard installations. The fan is intended for secure panel mounting and includes basic hardware compatibility, making it a good do-it-yourself upgrade.

• Mounts with common fasteners to pre-drilled or drilled panel holes.
• Wiring attaches to existing 12V vehicle circuits with simple spade or screw connectors.
• Built-in on/off/two-speed switch eliminates need for separate switch wiring in many setups.

Can I use this fan outside of vehicles?

Yes—the Dorman 7-941 is suitable for a variety of non-automotive applications where compact, directed airflow is useful. It works well in workshops, kiosks, small offices, storage areas, and other spaces that need added ventilation.

• Versatile mounting works on wood, metal, and plastic panels in homes or commercial areas.
• Durable construction is built for frequent use and mobile environments.
• Simple operation makes it practical for temporary or permanent setups.

What maintenance or support should I expect?

Maintenance is minimal: periodic cleaning of the blades and grille keeps airflow optimal. Dorman provides technical support and product expertise if you have fitment or installation questions.

• Wipe fan blades and housing with a damp cloth; avoid water in motor housing.
• Inspect mounting fasteners occasionally for tightness in mobile applications.
• Dorman technical support available for installation guidance or troubleshooting.
