Dream lighting RV Camper Fan & LED Reading Light Combo — 12V Two-Speed Fan, 300 lm Soft White

Compact 12V combo fan and LED reading light built for RVs, campers and boats—two-speed fan with thermal protection and a 300-lumen soft-white LED for comfortable interior airflow and lighting.

This Dream lighting 12volt RV Camper Fan and LED Reading Light Combo is a space-saving, low-voltage interior fixture engineered for mobile living. It combines a quiet, two-speed DC fan with an integrated 3500K soft-white LED to deliver airflow and glare-free illumination in bunks, cabins, and small cabins where size and power consumption matter.

How bright is the integrated LED and what kind of light does it produce?

The unit uses qualified LED chips mounted on an aluminum plate to disperse 300 lumens of soft white light at roughly 3500K—warm enough to read by without harsh blue tones. A frosted milky lens smooths the beam to reduce eye strain and delivers even illumination across the immediate area.

• 3500K soft white color temperature for comfortable reading
• Approximately 300 lumens output from energy-efficient LED chips
• Frosted lens for even light distribution and reduced glare
• LED on aluminum backing for improved heat dissipation and lifespan

What kind of fan performance and controls does it offer?

The compact fan runs on 12V DC and includes an independent switch to select two speed settings. A thermal-protected motor helps prevent overheating while offering reliable airflow to keep tight quarters ventilated.

• Two-speed fan settings for adjustable airflow
• Thermal protection motor for safer operation
• Low-voltage 12V DC design optimized for RV and marine systems
• Simple on/off and speed control via a dedicated switch

How durable and long-lasting is this combined light and fan?

Materials are chosen for longevity: the LED beads sit on an aluminum plate to move heat away efficiently, while the housing is made from V2-rated flame-retardant plastic. Together these components support extended service life—manufacturer-rated well above 30,000 hours under normal use.

• V2 fire-retardant plastic housing for safer installation
• Aluminum LED backing for improved thermal management
• LED and fan lifespan designed for long-term use (30,000+ hours typical)

Is installation straightforward and what wiring or mounting parts are included?

Installation is designed for quick mounting to round rods between 0.6 and 1 inch using three included clamps. The package also contains a proprietary DC female power jack (5.5mm outer, 2.0mm inner) to plug into the unit; wiring notes and polarity tips are provided to help avoid simple mistakes.

• Three mounting clamps fit 0.6–1 inch round rods for easy attachment
• Included DC female power jack (5.5 x 2.0 mm) to match the unit’s plug
• Wiring guidance: black = positive, white = negative; reverse if needed
• Compact footprint suited to bunks, cabinets and narrow spaces

Who is this for? This Dream lighting combo is aimed at RV owners, boaters, camper van builders, and anyone needing a compact, energy-efficient solution for airflow and task lighting in confined living areas. It’s especially useful where 12V DC power is standard and mounting space is limited—such as bunks, alcoves, over seats, or small berths—providing quiet ventilation and comfortable reading light without installing separate devices.
