Dump Buddy RV Hose Fastening Device — Red sewer-hose clamp for 90° elbow, no-spill lock & compact storage

Dump Buddy is a patented RV hose fastening device that locks your sewer hose connector to a 90° elbow to prevent accidental dislodging and messy spills while dumping.

Emptying your RV holding tanks is a necessary but unpleasant chore — the last thing any camper wants is a sudden leak or a hose that slips free. Dump Buddy was engineered to hold the waste hose connection steady during transfer, giving you a safer, cleaner, and more confident dump routine. Lightweight and compact, it stores easily with the included canvas case and mesh drying bag.

How does Dump Buddy stop accidental spills at the dump station?

Dump Buddy captures and locks the hose connector against the 90-degree elbow so force or tugging won’t pop the connection loose. The device clamps around the elbow, and a hinged arm secures the hose in place, reducing movement and stopping leaks from sudden dislodgement.

• Patented mechanical clamp that mates to standard 90° elbows
• Tightening knob applies secure, adjustable pressure without tools
• Tested to hold more than 10 lbs of force at the connector
• Compatible with common RV elbow outer diameters of 3.9"–5.75"

What materials and components are included with the Dump Buddy?

The Dump Buddy is molded from durable HDPE and ABS plastics chosen for outdoor durability and easy cleaning. Each kit ships with the main fastening device, a canvas carrying case, a mesh drying bag for the hose connector, and illustrated instructions to make setup straightforward.

• High-quality HDPE and ABS construction for longevity and washability
• Mesh drying bag protects the device and lets it air out after use
• Canvas case for compact, secure storage in your RV compartment
• Instruction manual with step-by-step photos for quick setup

How do I fit and use Dump Buddy on my RV sewer elbow?

Fitment is quick: place the clamp around the 90° elbow, align the tightening knob opposite the pipe, and snug the knob until firm. Swing the top arm over the hose connector and latch it; avoid over-tightening the knobs to prevent stress on the elbow or clamp.

• Designed for elbow outer diameters between 3.9" and 5.75"
• Hand-tighten the knob; no tools required for installation
• Hinge arm locks the hose connector in place—reduces movement
• Easy to clean and dries quickly in the included mesh bag

Will Dump Buddy fit my existing RV setup and handle heavy strain?

Dump Buddy was created for standard RV waste elbows and most common sewer setups; the adjustable clamp accommodates a wide OD range. It’s lab-tested to resist significant pull force at the connection, making it a reliable backup when hoses shift or settle during emptying.

• Fits the most common 90° elbow sizes used in RVs
• Holds over 10 lbs of pull force to prevent accidental dislodging
• Compact footprint keeps it stowed without taking much storage space
• Simple operation reduces setup time at busy campgrounds

Who is this for: Dump Buddy is for RV owners and campers who want a cleaner, less stressful dumping process. If you’ve ever dealt with a hose popping off, messy spills, or fumbling at a crowded dump station, this device adds peace of mind. It’s especially useful for families, new RVers, or anyone who prefers practical accessories that reduce risk and cleanup time.
