ENLEE Mountain Bike Tow Strap for Kids — 2.0 Black Auto-Retractable 2.5m, 220 lb Traction

ENLEE Mountain Bike Tow Strap is an auto-retractable parent-child tow rope designed to help adults assist kids on bikes safely with a compact 2.5 m length and 220 lb max traction.

Whether you're teaching a child to ride, extending a family trail ride, or helping a tired youngster get home, this lightweight, easy-to-store tow strap makes short-distance towing simple and controlled. Built with a zinc-alloy hook, nylon composite webbing, and an internal coil spring, the ENLEE tow strap balances strength and convenience so you can focus on the ride, not the gear.

How does the ENLEE tow strap help when teaching kids to ride?

The tow strap gives a steady, gentle pull that helps a child maintain balance and forward momentum without a bulky harness. The automatic retraction keeps slack under control, reducing trip hazards and tangles while learning.

• 2.5 m (8.20 ft) length keeps a safe distance between riders.
• Auto-retracting coil spring manages leash slack automatically.
• Single zinc-alloy hook attaches quickly to a seatpost or frame.
• Lightweight 94 g design lets you clip it on and forget it until needed.

Can this tow strap handle adult-to-child towing and tandem towing?

Yes — the strap is rated for up to 100 kg (220 lb) traction, suitable for pulling most children and lightweight bikes over short distances. It’s intended for occasional assist use rather than prolonged heavy towing.

• Max traction 220 lb (100 kg) for short-distance assistance.
• Durable nylon composite webbing resists abrasion.
• Zinc-alloy hook provides secure attachment to bike frames.
• Compact packing includes protective gaskets and Velcro straps for stable mounting.

How easy is it to attach, detach, and store during rides?

Attachment is quick and tool-free: hook the zinc-alloy clasp to a frame or post and use the included Velcro straps to fix the reel body. When not in use the internal spring retracts the strap cleanly into the housing for compact storage.

• One-handed hook attachment for fast setup on the trail.
• Three fixed Velcro straps included for secure mounting to frames.
• Protective gaskets help prevent frame scratches where the hook connects.
• Auto-retracting spool minimizes manual winding and tangles.

What materials and parts are included, and how durable is it?

The tow strap combines a zinc-alloy hook and a nylon composite webbing around an internal coil spring, offering a balance of strength and low weight. The kit ships with the strap, one hook, two protective gaskets, and three Velcro fasteners so you have everything needed to mount it.

• Zinc-alloy hook resists deformation under load.
• Nylon composite webbing provides abrasion resistance and flexibility.
• Internal coil spring for reliable automatic retraction.
• Kit includes hook, gaskets, and Velcro for quick setup.
