Ethos Handcrafted Car Care Ceramic Car Shampoo — pH-Balanced SiO₂ Wash, Hydrophobic Protection & High-Lubricity

Ethos Ceramic Car Shampoo is a pH-balanced, SiO₂-infused car wash that cleans gently while boosting hydrophobic protection and gloss on both coated and uncoated vehicles.

If you want a single wash product that safely removes road grime, preserves paint finishes, and supports water beading from ceramic coatings, this shampoo was formulated for that purpose. It combines high-foaming detergents with advanced lubricants and ceramic ingredients to reduce wash-induced marring and help coatings, waxes, or sealants perform better between full detailing sessions.

How does this shampoo protect ceramic coatings during washing?

The shampoo's lubricity and balanced pH reduce friction between wash mitt and surface, minimizing the chance of swirl marks. Infused SiO₂ boosts temporary hydrophobicity so beads form during rinsing, aiding faster drying and less water spotting. It’s designed to be safe on factory paint, ceramic coatings, waxes, and sealants.

• High-lubricity formula to lower mechanical abrasion
• pH-balanced to maintain coating integrity
• SiO₂ content enhances water beading and sheeting
• Rinses clean without leaving residues

Will this shampoo work on uncoated cars or those with wax or sealant?

Yes — the formulation was created to be universally compatible. It cleans effectively while supporting the appearance of waxes and sealants without stripping them aggressively, and it leaves a glossy, hydrophobic finish on bare paint as well.

• Safe for painted, clear-coated, and vinyl surfaces
• Compatible with waxes, paint sealants, and ceramic coatings
• Gentle cleaning that preserves surface treatments

How do I use Ethos Ceramic Car Shampoo for best results?

Mix a capful or the recommended dilution into a bucket of water, pre-rinse the vehicle to remove loose debris, and use a clean, well-lubricated wash mitt. Work top to bottom, rinse thoroughly, then dry or let water sheet away; the SiO₂ helps speed drying and improves beading during the rinse stage.

• Pre-rinse the vehicle to lose grit
• Dilute according to label for foam and slickness
• Use two-bucket method to reduce contamination
• Rinse and dry or let hydrophobic beading aid drying

What cleaning and maintenance benefits can I expect over time?

Regular use keeps surface contaminants from building up and helps coatings maintain their repellency between full maintenance treatments. The high-foaming action lifts dirt while ceramic ingredients support continued water behavior, preserving a glossy look and reducing drying time across washes.

• Consistent removal of road grime and light contaminants
• Maintains and enhances water beading over multiple washes
• Helps reduce time spent drying and detailing
• Leaves a slick finish to lower future wash friction

Who is this for: Ethos Ceramic Car Shampoo is aimed at car enthusiasts and detailers who want a single wash solution that balances powerful cleaning with surface protection. If you own a vehicle with a ceramic coating, wax, or sealant—or if you simply want safer, slicker washes with better water behavior—this shampoo delivers reliable cleaning, enhanced gloss, and practical hydrophobic benefits without harsh chemistry.
