eVerHITCH 2.5" Trailer Hitch Cover American Black Flag — Rubber Weatherproof, Friction-Fit

The eVerHitch USA 2.5" American Black Flag Trailer Hitch Cover is a weatherproof, rubber push-in plug that seals and decorates 2.5-inch hitch receivers with a snug, wobble-free fit.

This hitch cover combines practical protection with a bold American-flag motif in matte black. Specifically molded for 2.5-inch trailer hitch receivers used on many full-size trucks and SUVs, the plug keeps out water, dust, mud, and road debris while preserving your hitch tube from corrosion and grime. Built from UV-resistant, flexible rubber, it installs in seconds without tools or pins and adds a finished look to your vehicle when the receiver is not in use.

How does this hitch cover protect my receiver on the road?

The rubber construction forms a tight seal inside the hitch tube to block moisture and particles that accelerate rust and wear. Its friction-fit design eliminates gaps that let in salt, sand, or standing water.

• Full insertion friction-fit keeps the plug flush and secure without pins.
• Waterproof and UV-resistant rubber prevents cracking and fading.
• Seals out dirt and road salt to slow corrosion inside the receiver.
• Flexible material absorbs minor impacts and won’t chip painted surfaces.

Will this fit my truck’s 2.5" hitch receiver?

Yes—this model is designed for standard 2.5-inch hitch receivers commonly found on modern full-size trucks and SUVs. The engineered diameter and tapered rubber ensure a snug, wobble-free engagement across major manufacturers.

• Compatible with typical 2.5" receivers used on Ford, Chevy, RAM, and GMC.
• Precision molding minimizes play and eliminates rattling under drive.
• Works with both painted and powder-coated receiver finishes.
• Push-in installation fits most common receiver tolerances without modification.

How easy is it to install and remove?

Installation and removal take seconds: just push the plug into the receiver until it seats fully. No hitch pins, clips, or tools are required, making it ideal for routine use and quick removal before towing.

• Push-in friction fit installs in one motion, no hardware needed.
• Rubber grip makes removal easy by hand, even in cold weather.
• Lightweight design won’t add bulk when carrying or storing spare covers.
• Patent-pending shape keeps it firmly seated at highway speeds.

What makes this model a good gift or styling choice?

The matte black American-flag look is both subtle and patriotic, adding personality without shouting. Its durable finish and low-maintenance rubber make it a practical, long-lasting present for truck owners who want function and style.

• Stylized flag design offers a distinctive, vehicle-forward accent.
• Durable materials keep appearance consistent across seasons.
• Compact packaging and universal fit make gifting simple.
• Design-pending profile looks integrated, not aftermarket or bulky.
