EVIL ENERGY 3/4" Silicone Heater Hose (5 ft) is a reinforced silicone coolant and heater line built to SAE 20R3 Class A standards for reliable high- and low-temperature performance.
This 3/4" ID silicone heater hose delivers a balanced combination of flexibility, strength and temperature tolerance for automotive cooling and heating applications. Manufactured with braided polyester reinforcement and silicone inner and outer layers, the hose resists aging, ozone and temperature extremes better than typical EPDM rubber hoses. With a 5-foot length and clearly defined pressure and temperature ratings, it’s suited for DIY repairs, restoration projects, and performance builds that require a durable coolant or heater line.
The hose has a nominal inner diameter of 3/4" (19 mm) with a manufacturing tolerance of ±0.4 mm and an outer diameter of approximately 1-1/16" (27 mm), OD tolerance ±0.4 mm. Its working pressure is rated at 60 psi with a burst pressure around 203 psi, and the minimum bend radius is 95 mm for safe routing without kinking.
Silicone inner and outer layers combined with braided polyester reinforcement make the hose more resistant to thermal cycling, ozone, and aging than standard EPDM hoses. That results in longer service life under fluctuating temperatures and reduced risk of cracking or hardening over time.
This silicone heater hose is designed for circulating coolants, water, steam, transport air and weak acidic or alkaline fluids in automotive and household heating systems. It is commonly used for radiator links, heater cores, water heaters and HVAC circulation lines, but it is not compatible with fuels, alcohols, engine oil, or lubricating fluids.
The hose’s flexibility and 95 mm minimum bend radius mean it can be routed through tight engine bays or heating cabinets with minimal stress. Standard hose clamps or OEM-style fittings secure readily to the 3/4" ID; trim the 5-foot length to fit custom runs and avoid sharp bends or pinch points during installation.
Who is this for? EVIL ENERGY’s 3/4" silicone heater hose is aimed at mechanics, car restorers, performance builders, and homeowners needing a dependable coolant or heater line that tolerates wide temperature swings. It’s a good choice when you want a longer-lasting alternative to EPDM hoses for radiator, heater core, and general water-circulation duties—but not for carrying fuels or lubricants. Choose this hose when you need clear specifications, a 5-foot ready length, and materials designed to hold up under repeated thermal cycling.
Q: Can this hose handle engine coolant temperatures?
A: Yes. The hose is rated -67°F to 356°F (-55°C to 180°C) and is suitable for typical automotive coolant and heater system temperatures.
Q: Is it safe to use with gasoline or engine oil?
A: No. This silicone heater hose is not compatible with alcohols, fuels, engine oil, or lubricants.
