The hose is engineered for demanding conditions: a maximum working pressure of 650 psi and a burst rating around 1180 psi, making it suitable for many fuel delivery setups. Temperature tolerance ranges from -4°F to 212°F (-20°C to 100°C), allowing use in a wide range of climates without rapid degradation.
This 6AN / 3/8" hose is compatible with petrol, diesel, engine oil and many petroleum-based fluids, making it useful across fuel pumps, filters, regulators and oil coolers. It’s intended for use where a flexible push-lock hose is required and where hose clamps can be used to reinforce the connection.
Installation is straightforward: push the hose onto fittings and secure with the included clamps to improve sealing and resistance to leakage. The kit includes clamps sized for 13–19 mm hose jackets; however, always measure fittings and hose routing first to ensure a proper fit and avoid over-torqueing clamps.
The hose uses a three-layer construction: an NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) inner tube for fluid resistance, a polyester-reinforced core for pressure strength, and a chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) outer layer for abrasion and weather resistance. That combination balances flexibility, chemical compatibility and mechanical durability for aftermarket fuel routing.
Q: Is this hose compatible with ethanol-blended fuels?
A: Yes—constructed with NBR inner rubber and CPE outer, it is compatible with common petrol blends; always confirm blend and application specifics.
Q: Can I use this hose for pressurized fuel injection systems?
A: It handles up to 650 psi working pressure; verify your injection system’s continuous pressure requirements before use.
