EZAUTO WRAP 2" x 25ft Matte Black Vinyl Wrap Kit — 3M 2080 Film for Chrome-Delete, UV‑Resistant

EZAUTO WRAP's 2 inches x 25 feet matte black vinyl kit is a genuine 3M 2080 automotive cast film designed to black-out chrome and refresh window and door trim with long-lasting, UV-resistant coverage.

This self-adhesive matte black wrap kit is cut to a convenient 2" width on a 25-foot roll so you can tackle window surrounds, door trim, and small accents without buying large sheets. Manufactured from authentic 3M 2080 cast film, the material offers pressure-activated, bubble-free adhesion and is engineered to resist UV fade, water, oil, grease, and light corrosives. A small installation kit — squeegee and razor blade — is included to help smooth edges and remove bubbles during application.

How does this vinyl wrap perform outdoors?

The 3M 2080 cast film used in this kit delivers extended outdoor durability and stable color retention. It’s formulated for automotive use so it resists common environmental stressors while maintaining a matte finish.

• UV durable: rated up to 7 years outdoor life under normal conditions
• Resistant to water, dirt, grease, salt, mild acids and oil
• Protective top layer on gloss films (remove after install); matte arrives ready
• Automotive-cast construction reduces stretching stress and holds finish

How easy is installation for a DIYer?

This 2" tape is user-friendly for beginners but also suitable for experienced installers. The film has pressure-activated, bubble-free adhesive and stretches with heat so it conforms to curves, corners, and trim details.

• Self-adhesive back with 3M Comply-style adhesive for repositioning
• Heat-activated stretch lets you contour around corners and complex shapes
• Included squeegee removes air pockets; razor blade trims excess cleanly
• Residue-free removal when done properly, preserving underlying paint

What surfaces and parts can I use it on?

Designed for exterior trim applications, the 2" width is ideal for narrow moldings and chrome accents. Avoid using on heavily textured surfaces or unprepared, flaky paint.

• Window trim and door trim for a factory black-out look
• Side moldings, narrow bumper accents, and roof drip edges
• Use on smooth painted surfaces; clean thoroughly before application
• Not recommended for porous or heavily textured plastics without priming

What tools and prep are required?

Minimal tools are needed — the kit includes a squeegee and razor blade to help with alignment and trimming. Proper surface prep is essential to a long-lasting installation.

• Clean surface with soap and water; remove wax and road grime fully
• Dry surface completely before applying tape to ensure adhesion
• Use heat gun or hair dryer to conform film around curves and corners
• Trim edges with the included razor for a neat, factory look

It's especially practical for those updating window and door trim without investing in full vehicle wraps.
