EZAUTO WRAP gloss black vinyl is a self-adhesive, air-release automotive film designed to black out chrome and protect surfaces with a deep, shiny finish. This roll of premium automotive-grade vinyl provides a high-gloss black look while offering waterproof, scratch-resistant protection for exterior and interior trim. The 2 in × 25 ft format is ideal for edging, window trim, door trim, and smaller wrap projects where precision and control matter. With built-in air-release channels and a repositionable adhesive, the film supports bubble-free DIY installs and clean removals when heated.

How will this gloss black vinyl improve my car’s appearance?

The high-gloss finish delivers a rich, reflective black that visually replaces chrome elements or refreshes faded trim without repainting. It creates a seamless, customized look that works with both modern and classic vehicle styles.

• Deep gloss surface that mimics painted or factory black trim.
• Consistent color and shine across small parts and trim pieces.
• Works on door handles, window bezels, emblems, and mirror caps.

Is this film easy enough for a first-time DIY installer?

Yes — the kit is built for beginners and pros. The pressure-sensitive adhesive and air-release technology allow you to reposition the film during application and smooth it without trapping bubbles.

• Self-adhesive backing for quick placement and realignment.
• Air release channels reduce bubbles and make squeegeeing faster.
• Stretchable, flexible material conforms to curves and edges.

Which surfaces and projects are suitable for this 2 in × 25 ft roll?

The thin, narrow roll excels on narrow trims and small components but also works for many other smooth, non-porous surfaces around the car and home. It’s versatile enough for interior accents and exterior trim work.

• Chrome delete for window trim, door trim and small moldings.
• Protective wrap for handles, mirror stems, badges, and switches.
• Gadgets and accessories: laptops, phones, keychains, and more.

How durable is this vinyl and how does it come off when needed?

The vinyl is manufactured to resist water, dirt, and light scratches while maintaining its gloss over years of use. It is removable with heat and will not typically leave adhesive residue if removed properly.

• Indoor life up to 10 years; outdoor life up to 5 years under normal conditions.
• Waterproof and dirt-resistant finish for everyday wear protection.
• Removes cleanly with heat and gentle peeling, suitable for temporary or permanent upgrades.
