Facon 12V RV Cooling Fan 8-3/4" – Heavy-Duty Black Metal, 2-Speed Toggle, Compact Mount

Facon's 12V 8-3/4" cooling fan is a permanently mounted two-speed metal fan designed to improve air circulation and reduce heat inside vehicles and small enclosed spaces.

This compact, heavy-duty fan pairs a durable metal housing with plastic blades to deliver reliable airflow for RVs, trucks, campers, trailers, buses and boats. Built for fixed installation, the unit connects to a 12V DC supply and includes a three-position switch (fast–off–slow) so you can choose stronger ventilation or a gentler breeze without adding a large footprint or complex wiring.

How much power and airflow can I expect from this fan?

The Facon fan runs on 12V DC, consuming 15 watts and drawing about 1.3 amps—enough for meaningful air movement in small to medium vehicle cabins. Its 8-3/4" diameter fan and metal body focus airflow while keeping the installation compact and unobtrusive.

• Voltage: 12V DC for direct vehicle battery connection
• Power: 15W, Current: 1.3A for efficient operation
• Blade diameter: 8-3/4" for concentrated airflow
• Compact footprint: 9.5" height x 2" width for tight mounting locations

Is it easy to install and control while driving or camping?

Yes—this model is designed for fixed mounting on dash, ceiling or wall surfaces and includes two pre-attached wires (positive and negative) for simple 12V hookups. A built-in three-way switch lets you toggle between high, off and low settings without adding extra switches or controllers.

• Wiring: two wires (black = positive, white = negative) with 7" leads
• Switch: integrated fast–off–slow toggle for quick adjustments
• Mounting: permanent installation on flat surfaces using the adjustable base
• Placement: suitable for dash, ceiling, wall or other fixed points inside vehicles

How durable and quiet is the fan for long-term use?

Constructed with a black-plated metal casing and quality plastic blades, the Facon fan balances rugged durability with low-noise performance. The materials resist corrosion and daily wear typical in mobile environments while maintaining steady, low-vibration operation.

• Housing: durable black-plated metal for longevity
• Blades: high-quality plastic for quieter rotation and reduced weight
• Noise level: designed for low operation on the slow setting
• Adjustable base: helps minimize vibration and obtain desired angle

Where will this fan work best inside my vehicle or boat?

The compact size and mounting flexibility make this fan suitable for many applications where space is limited and reliable airflow is needed. It helps circulate air, assist defogging, and increase comfort in driver cabins, sleeping areas and enclosed storage compartments.

• Ideal for RV driving cabs, camper sleeping areas and trailer bays
• Useful in boats for ventilation in cabins or below-deck spaces
• Works well in trucks, vans, buses and small recreational vehicles
• Can assist in defogging windows when directed toward glass

Who is this for? The Facon 12V 8-3/4" cooling fan is aimed at RV owners, truck drivers, boaters and DIY vehicle upfitters who need a compact, permanently mounted ventilation solution with straightforward wiring and two-speed control. Choose this fan if you want a tough, space-conscious air mover that installs easily and provides adjustable airflow for driving, camping or onboard comfort.
