FENNICA’s ENET OBD2 cable is a 2.0 m Ethernet-to-OBDII data link with a USB‑C adapter designed to connect BMW F, G and select i‑series vehicles to coding and diagnostic software.
This red ENET interface cable provides a straightforward wired connection between a laptop and many BMW models for module access, personalization, and diagnostics. It carries only data, so you will need compatible BMW coding or diagnostic applications — such as E‑SYS, ISTA, ICOM or other third‑party tools — to read, change, or program vehicle modules. The kit includes the 6.5 ft ENET cable and a USB‑C to Ethernet adapter for modern laptops that lack RJ45 ports.
The cable is primarily built for F‑series vehicles (post‑2010 platforms) and many later G‑series and i‑series models, including common 1, 3, 5, 7, GT and X‑series platforms. Compatibility depends on the vehicle’s factory wiring and software support, so not every BMW is guaranteed to respond.
Setup is plug‑and‑play for the physical connection: plug the RJ45 end into the OBD port adapter and the USB‑C adapter into your computer. After connecting, install the BMW-compatible software and any needed drivers, configure your network interface to the software’s recommended settings, and then launch your diagnostic or coding tool.
The FENNICA ENET cable supports a broad range of BMW development and service tools. It’s compatible with mainstream programs used for coding, diagnostics and flashing, but the cable itself only transmits the data; the software performs the actual commands and module changes.
Product highlights: 2.0 m (6.5 ft) length for easy reach, shielded CAT5e construction with gold‑plated contacts, 16‑pin OBDII interface, durable copper conductors and a USB‑C adapter for modern laptops. The cable is a reliable data link for hobbyists and professionals but does not include licensing or proprietary BMW software.
Who is this for? If you are a BMW owner, enthusiast, independent mechanic or tuner who wants a reliable wired connection to access coding features and diagnostics on supported F/G/i series cars, this ENET cable kit provides a cost‑effective, well‑built interface. If you expect turnkey software or universal model support, verify your vehicle’s ENET compatibility and prepare the required coding/diagnostic applications before use.
Q: Does this cable include coding software?
A: No. The cable only transmits data; you must obtain and install BMW-compatible coding or diagnostic software separately.
Q: Will this cable work with every BMW model?
A: No. It supports many F and later G/i series models, but compatibility depends on model year, platform, and software support.
