Fit System Deluxe Universal Clip-On Trailer Towing Mirror 5x8in — Dual-Ratchet Secure Mount

The Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-On Trailer Towing Mirror is a heavy-duty, tool-free extension mirror that provides a wide 5" x 8" viewing surface and secure ratchet mounting for safer towing.

When you tow a trailer, boat, or camper, standard side mirrors often leave blind spots that make lane changes and reversing stressful. The Fit System 3891 adds a large, stable mirror head and a dual-ratchet strap system that clips over most factory mirrors so you can see farther and react faster. Built to resist vibration and weather, this accessory installs quickly without tools and stays firmly in place during highway driving.

How does this mirror improve towing visibility?

The oversized 5" x 8" glass gives a broader field of view compared to typical factory mirrors, helping you monitor your trailer and adjacent lanes more effectively. Its positioning capability reduces blind spots so you can change lanes and back up with more confidence.

• Large rectangular mirror head increases side-to-side visibility
• Adjustable angle for personalized sightlines
• Wide coverage helps track trailer position and passing vehicles

How secure and stable is the attachment on highway trips?

The mirror uses a dual ratcheting strap system with rubber contact pads that grip most factory mirrors up to 11.5" tall. This design minimizes movement and vibration at speed while protecting the vehicle’s finish from scuffs or scratches.

• Dual ratchet straps lock the mirror solidly in place
• Rubber pads prevent slipping and reduce vibration noise
• Fits mirrors up to 11.5" tall for broad vehicle compatibility

How easy is it to install and remove?

Installation is tool-free: clip the assembly over your existing mirror and tighten the ratchets to the desired tension. Removal is equally simple—release the straps and lift off—so you can revert to factory mirrors whenever you’re not towing.

• Clip-on design requires no tools or permanent modifications
• Quick-adjust ratchets let you fine-tune the angle in seconds
• Works on either driver or passenger side with one complete assembly

How durable is the Fit System 3891 in different weather and road conditions?

The mirror assembly is built from heavy-duty materials intended to withstand road vibration, wind, and everyday exposure. Its construction maintains mirror alignment and clarity across long trips and varied conditions, delivering consistent performance.

• Sturdy housing resists flexing and impact from road forces
• Weather-tolerant components hold position in rain and wind
• Quality control from K Source’s Fit System line for long-term reliability
