Goodyear Endurance trailer tyre ST205/75R14 105N D (8‑ply) Durawall heavy-duty load‑carrying

The Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 105N D/8 BW is a heavy-duty trailer tire with Durawall sidewall protection, built to carry trailer loads reliably while resisting cuts and punctures.

The Goodyear Endurance is an ST (Special Trailer) tire sized ST205/75R14 with a 105N load index and a D (8-ply) rating, featuring a black sidewall (BW) and Goodyear’s Durawall Technology. It’s engineered specifically for trailer use rather than passenger cars, prioritizing load-carrying capacity, sidewall strength and long tread life under towing conditions. Below you'll find practical answers to common questions buyers have when choosing trailer tires.

How durable is the Goodyear Endurance for trailer use?

This tire is built to handle trailer loads and roadside hazards more robustly than standard passenger tires. Durawall Technology reinforces the sidewall to resist cuts, abrasions and punctures that frequently occur during towing or when backing over rough terrain.

• Durawall sidewall construction to reduce sidewall damage
• D-rated (8-ply) strength for heavier loads and improved heat resistance
• Heavy-duty casing designed for trailer load distribution

What load capacity and speed rating does ST205/75R14 105N mean?

The ST205/75R14 sizing indicates a standard trailer tire profile and rim diameter suitable for many utility and travel trailers. The 105N load index supports a substantial per-tire load at moderate towing speeds, while the N speed symbol indicates a recommended maximum speed for safe operation when loaded.

• ST205/75R14 — common trailer tire size for light- to medium-duty trailers
• 105 load index — supports higher per-tire payload than lower-index tires
• N speed rating — follows trailer speed limits and manufacturer recommendations

How does the black sidewall (BW) and tread design help appearance and maintenance?

The black sidewall provides a clean, traditional look that hides scuffs and road grime better than whitewalls. The tread is optimized for trailer mileage and even wear, reducing maintenance frequency and the need for early replacement due to uneven wear patterns.

• Black sidewall offers low-maintenance aesthetics
• Tread compound and pattern aim for steady wear under trailer loads
• Ideal for trailers that sit outdoors or see varied road conditions

What should I check before installing these tires on my trailer?

Confirm the tire size, load index and speed rating match your trailer manufacturer's specifications and the axle capacity. Check wheel compatibility for the ST designation and ensure proper inflation and periodic inspection for tread wear and sidewall condition.

• Match ST205/75R14 and 105N to trailer placard or owner manual
• Use the correct rim diameter and wheel type for ST tires
• Maintain recommended cold inflation pressures and inspect for damage

Who is this for? The Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R14 105N D/8 BW is aimed at trailer owners who need a beefy, reliable tire for utility, enclosed, boat or travel trailers. It suits users who prioritize sidewall protection against cuts and punctures, prefer a low-maintenance black sidewall appearance, and require the higher load capacity of an 8-ply-rated ST tire. Choose this tire when you want a trailer-focused design from a recognized brand built to withstand towing stresses and everyday trailering demands.
