Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner for Car Seats & Vinyl — 1 Gallon Concentrated, Low-Residue Multi-Surface

Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner Spray is a concentrated, all-purpose interior cleaner formulated to remove dirt, dust, and grime from car seats, carpets, vinyl, and dashboards without leaving sticky residue.

This one-gallon detailing solution is made in the USA and designed for professional detailers and vehicle owners who need a reliable, versatile interior cleaner. The low-residue formula works across multiple surfaces — including fabric seats, carpets, floor mats, vinyl trim, headliners, and dashboards — making it suitable for cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, and boats. It rinses and wipes clean so surfaces look refreshed without greasy buildup or visible film.

How does this spray clean different interior surfaces?

The formula lifts and suspends soils so they can be removed with a microfiber towel or light agitation. It is dye- and additive-free to reduce the risk of discoloration, and it’s balanced to work on porous fabrics as well as smooth vinyl and plastic trims.

• Effective on woven and knit upholstery fabrics, loosening embedded dirt.
• Safe for vinyl and plastic — removes smudges and restores surface clarity.
• Works on carpets and floor mats to release ground-in grime for extraction or blotting.
• Suitable for dashboards and trim without leaving tacky residue that attracts dust.

What’s the best way to use this cleaner for a deep or quick clean?

For deep cleaning, apply, agitate with a soft brush, then extract or blot dry; for spot cleaning or quick touch-ups, spray onto a towel and wipe the affected area. Always test an inconspicuous spot first on delicate fabrics or headliners to confirm compatibility.

• Deep clean: spray, brush gently, extract or wipe with microfiber towels.
• Quick touch-up: spray on towel, wipe surface, follow with dry microfiber for a streak-free finish.
• Spot treatment: concentrate on stains, allow dwell time, then blot and repeat as needed.
• Headliner caution: minimal wetting and light blotting to avoid sagging.

Is this product suitable for marine and non-automotive uses?

Yes — the balanced, non-residue formula cleans a variety of household and marine textiles and surfaces. It can refresh boat upholstery, furniture fabric, shoes, and bags while maintaining surface integrity and avoiding sticky buildup that would attract dirt.

• Marine upholstery: safe on vinyl boat seats and interior fabrics.
• Home use: effective on furniture fabric, area rugs, and door mats.
• Accessories: useful for cleaning bags, shoes, and removable fabric panels.
• Multi-surface: reduces the need for separate cleaners for different materials.

Will this cleaner leave residue or change the appearance of interiors?

The formula is designed to rinse and wipe clear, leaving minimal to no residue when used as directed. Because it contains no dyes or harsh additives, it helps preserve the original look of trim and fabric without creating a tacky film that can attract new dirt.

• Non-residue finish helps surfaces stay cleaner longer.
• No dyes or harsh additives to risk discoloration.
• Proper rinsing or wiping prevents streaks on glossy trim and dashboards.
• Follow label instructions for best finish on delicate materials.
