Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash — Rinseless Waterless, One Gallon, Carnauba Gloss & High-Lubricity

Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash is a high-lubricity, waterless and rinseless cleaner that lifts dirt and leaves a glossy, carnauba-enhanced finish without a hose or bucket.

When you need a quick, safe way to remove dust, light road grime, and fingerprints without access to a hose, this one-gallon spray delivers a convenient wash-and-wipe routine. The formula clings to surfaces to loosen contaminants, then wipes away cleanly with a plush microfiber towel. Because it contains carnauba wax, you get added gloss and surface protection during each wash, making it ideal for maintenance between deeper detailing sessions.

How does this product clean without water or rinsing?

The spray uses high-lubricity surfactants and polymers that encapsulate dirt particles and lift them from the paint, preventing marring as you wipe. It’s formulated to cling briefly so contaminants break free and then emulsify for easy removal with microfiber towels.

• Spray-on, dwell 10–15 seconds to loosen grime
• Wipe with a clean, plush microfiber towel—no hose needed
• Lubrication reduces scratch risk compared to dry wiping

Will it harm paint protection film, wraps, or delicate finishes?

This no-rinse cleaner is designed to be safe on a wide range of automotive surfaces, including PPF and vinyl wraps. The gentle chemistry avoids harsh solvents while still removing surface contaminants, so it’s suitable for routine maintenance.

• Safe on clear coat, PPF, and vinyl wraps
• No aggressive solvents that strip protective films
• Recommended to test an inconspicuous spot on heavily altered finishes

How does the carnauba wax in the formula help my vehicle’s appearance?

Carnauba adds a reflective layer and enhances depth of shine as you clean, giving surfaces a richer gloss after each application. While not a substitute for a dedicated paste or spray wax, the carnauba boost helps preserve a freshly detailed look between full waxing routines.

• Delivers instant gloss enhancement during cleaning
• Adds a light protective barrier against contaminants
• Helps maintain showroom shine between full-detail services

What’s the fastest way to use this for a streak-free finish?

Work in small sections, mist the surface, allow a few seconds for the formula to work, then wipe with a high-quality microfiber towel in overlapping passes. Flip or switch towels frequently to avoid reintroducing removed grime and finish with a clean, dry cloth for ultimate clarity.

• Mist 2–3 light sprays per small panel area
• Let product dwell 10–15 seconds, then wipe with plush microfiber
• Use separate towels for wheels, lower panels, and painted surfaces

Who is this for? Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash is made for vehicle owners who want a fast, low-water way to keep cars looking cared-for between traditional washes. It’s especially useful for apartment dwellers, people under water restrictions, owners of specialty finishes like wraps or paint protection film, and anyone who prefers a quick maintenance routine without hauling a hose and bucket. For best results, pair the spray with high-quality microfiber towels and use it as part of a regular upkeep schedule rather than a heavy-duty decontamination step.
