HAUSSIMPLE Car Trash Can - 0.8-Gallon Leakproof Auto Garbage Bin with Stability Flap & Flip Lid

The HAUSSIMPLE Car Trash Can is a compact, 0.8-gallon leakproof auto garbage bin with a spike-equipped stability flap and flip lid to keep your vehicle tidy and mess-free.

Small cars, family vehicles, and rideshare drivers all share the same problem: trash accumulates quickly and creates odors, spills, and clutter. The HAUSSIMPLE mini bin is designed to solve that without taking up passenger space. Built from durable plastic with a reinforced base and a unique stability flap, this bin stays put on floor humps or flat surfaces while keeping waste concealed under a lid.

How does the stability flap keep the bin from sliding around?

The bin’s stability flap folds under the base and features molded spikes that grip carpeting and floor humps. This design lowers the center of gravity and creates friction so the bin is less likely to tip or shift during turns or sudden stops. It’s a simple mechanical solution that works without adhesives or straps.

• Spike-textured flap tucks under carpet or against floor humps
• Reinforced base reduces wobble and tipping
• Works on both raised and flat vehicle floors

Will this small bin hold everyday car trash effectively?

Yes—at 0.8 gallons the HAUSSIMPLE bin is sized to collect wrappers, tissues, small cups, wipes, and other common disposables without dominating foot space. Its capacity encourages frequent emptying so odors and leaks are minimized, and the flip lid keeps contents out of sight between cleanings. The compact shape is especially convenient for front-seat footwells or center console areas.

• 0.8-gallon capacity fits typical daily waste like cups and tissues
• Flip lid contains trash and reduces odor exposure
• Compact footprint preserves passenger legroom and access

How durable and leak-resistant is this auto garbage bin?

Manufactured from sturdy, heat-resistant plastic, the HAUSSIMPLE bin resists cracking and deformation from repeated use and cabin temperatures. The molded interior and secure lid help prevent loose debris and accidental spills. While not intended for large liquid volumes, the construction minimizes minor leaks and makes cleanup fast with a wipe or rinse.

• High-quality plastic resists heat and daily wear
• Seamless molded interior simplifies cleaning
• Flip lid helps prevent drips and hide trash between emptyings

How easy is it to install, remove, and empty the bin?

Setup is tool-free: fold the stability flap under the base and push the bin into the chosen floor spot. When it’s time to empty, lift the lid and remove the contents or use a small bag for cleaner disposal. Its lightweight build makes handling quick and simple for drivers of all ages.

• Tool-free placement and removal—no adhesives required
• Lightweight for quick emptying and cleaning
• Compatible with small trash bags for hygienic disposal

Who is this for? The HAUSSIMPLE Car Trash Can is ideal for commuters, parents, rideshare drivers, and anyone who wants a neat interior without bulky organizers. It’s particularly useful in compact cars and for drivers who prefer a low-profile solution that won’t slide around on floor humps. If you want an affordable, durable, and easy-to-use in-car trash option that keeps everyday waste contained, this mini bin is made for you.
