This cover uses a heavier-weight oxford fabric with a PU coating—substantially thicker than common 190T or 300D alternatives—so it resists water penetration and stands up to daily outdoor elements. The weight helps keep the cover from shifting in normal winds, while reinforced features preserve longevity.

Does the cover handle wind and secure attachment?

For typical outdoor parking, the elastic cord and straps provide a snug fit that resists movement. In consistently windy locations, we recommend running an additional securing line around the vehicle above the wheels to further anchor the cover; the product is not designed for trailering.
