HILASON Small Western Anti-Slip Saddle Seat Cover — Black, Plush Grip Pad for 12–17" Thighs

HILASON Small Black Western Anti Slip Grip Saddle Seat Cover is a plush, hook-and-loop-secured grip pad that reduces slipping and improves rider stability on western and barrel saddles.

This compact grip seat cover is built for riders who want extra confidence during fast runs, tight turns and everyday practice. Designed to fit around the saddle seat and secure to the rider’s thigh, it combines a plush top for comfort with a textured underside for traction. The small size accommodates most riders whose thigh measurement falls between 12 and 17 inches, and it works with the majority of western and barrel saddles without permanent modification.

How does this seat cover stop slipping during fast movement?

The cover uses a high-friction underside and hook-and-loop straps that anchor to the saddle and the rider’s thigh, keeping the pad aligned under dynamic motion. The plush top increases contact comfort while the grip surface minimizes sliding, especially during quick turns and transitions.

• Hook-and-loop fastener attaches to saddle and thigh for a secure hold.
• Textured grip underside resists lateral movement in the saddle.
• Plush top cushions the rider without reducing traction.
• Fits most western and barrel saddles without permanent changes.

Will the Small size fit my leg and saddle?

The Small size is intended for thigh measurements from 12 to 17 inches; measure the widest part of your upper thigh while seated to confirm fit. The flexible straps allow for a snug attachment around different saddle skirts and rider builds, but check compatibility if you have an unusually shaped or custom saddle.

• Small size range: 12–17 inches (thigh measurement).
• Adjustable hook-and-loop straps accommodate most seat shapes.
• Compact profile avoids interfering with rider leg positioning.
• Fits western and barrel saddles commonly used in rodeo and ranch work.

How do I attach and care for the cover?

Attachment is quick: position the pad on the seat, loop the thigh strap around the rider’s leg, and fasten the saddle strap to the skirt or rigging with the hook-and-loop closure. For care, use gentle spot cleaning for the plush top and avoid machine washing to preserve the grip surface and fasteners.

• Position on seat, secure saddle strap, then fasten thigh strap with hook-and-loop.
• Spot clean with mild soap and a damp cloth; air dry flat.
• Avoid bleach, high heat, and machine agitation to prolong life.
• Check fasteners regularly and reseat if shifting is noticed before riding.

What riding situations benefit most from this grip seat cover?

This small grip cover is best for riders who need extra stability—novice or young riders, barrel racers practicing quick maneuvers, and anyone pairing comfort with added security. It’s useful for schooling sessions, trail rides where sudden movement can occur, and for riders returning to riding after a break who want extra confidence.

• Novice and young riders building balance and confidence.
• Barrel racers and speed event riders needing lateral stability.
• Daily practice and schooling where grip helps maintain position.
• Riders seeking non-permanent seat traction without altering the saddle.
