Hovano 16-Pod Rock Lights 6000K Pure White — 36 SMD LEDs per Pod, IP68 Waterproof Kit

These Hovano rock lights combine bright 6000K pure white LEDs and a compact, weatherproof housing to highlight wheel wells, undercarriages, grills, and decks. Each kit contains 16 pods, providing consistent coverage across a vehicle or marine craft; the IP68-rated construction resists water, dirt, and corrosion so the lights hold up on trails, in rain, or on wet surfaces. Choose between drilled mounting or peel-and-stick installation to suit permanent or temporary setups.

How bright and consistent is the illumination?

Each pod uses 36 SMD chips for a total of 720 high-brightness LEDs across the set, producing a clean pure-white 6000K color temperature. The result is a strong, wide beam that reduces dark spots and accentuates contours around wheels and underbodies.

• 36 SMD LEDs per pod; 720 LEDs total for the 16-piece kit
• 6000K pure white color for neutral, daylight-like illumination
• Designed for broad, even coverage rather than narrow spot beams

What mounting options are available and how easy is installation?

The kit supports two installation approaches: permanent mounting using the supplied screws and nuts, or a no-drill option with heavy-duty double-sided tape. You’ll also find cable ties and a clear wiring layout in the manual, so installation can be tailored to DIY or professional fits depending on durability needs.

• Drill-mount with included screws and hardware for a secure, long-term fit
• No-drill install using the included double-sided tape for temporary or renter-friendly setups
• 32 cable ties and clear wiring instructions to tidy runs and avoid snagging

How does this kit handle wet or harsh environments?

Hovano builds these pods with waterproof drip rubber seals and rugged plastic housings, earning an IP68 rating for protection against dust and long-term immersion. The materials resist corrosion and abrasion, making the lights suitable for rainy drives, muddy trails, and marine decks where splashes and salt exposure are common.

• IP68-rated sealing blocks water, sand, and dust ingress
• Durable plastic housing with rubber drip seal for long-term outdoor use
• Corrosion-resistant components suited for off-road and marine conditions

Which vehicles and locations work best with these pods?

This 16-pod kit fits a wide range of vehicles and mounting points—cars, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, boats, and more. Pods are compact enough for wheel wells yet bright enough to illuminate undercarriage lines or deck areas, letting you highlight rims, steps, or cargo zones.

• Compatible with cars, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, and boats
• Common placements: wheel wells, underbody, grille, deck, and step areas
• Works for show lighting, safety accenting, and utility illumination
