INSAUTO Custom Fit Windscreen Sun Shade for Honda CR-V 2017–2022 | Reflective 240T Polyester, UV Protection

The INSAUTO Custom Fit Windshield Sun Shade for Honda CR-V 2017–2022 is a tailored, reflective sunshade that blocks sunlight and UV rays while reducing interior heat buildup.

Designed to match the exact contours of Honda CR-V models from 2017 through 2022, this sun shade combines a reflective outer layer with an insulating inner face to protect your dash, trim and upholstery. It’s cut to the factory windshield dimensions so installation is quick and storage is compact. Built from upgraded 240T polyester with a UV-resistant coating, the shade aims to lower cabin temperatures and limit sun damage to interior surfaces without altering vehicle fit or visibility when removed.

How does it fit my Honda CR-V and stay in place?

The shade is pre-shaped to the front windshield profile of the 2017–2022 Honda CR-V, so you get edge-to-edge coverage without trimming. It secures simply using your existing sun visors and fits flush against glass to minimize gaps where heat can enter.

• Perfectly contoured to stock windshield dimensions for a snug fit.
• Installs in seconds—place, flip down visors to hold edges.
• No adhesives or suction cups required, so no residue on glass.

What materials are used and how do they reduce heat?

This shade uses a two-layer construction: a reflective 240T polyester exterior that rejects sunlight and a thermal inner layer that helps slow heat transfer. The UV-resistant finish further reduces sun-driven fading and helps maintain lower temperatures inside the cabin when parked.

• 240T reflective polyester reflects intense sunlight and glare.
• Insulating inner layer reduces heat conduction into the interior.
• Blocks up to 99% of UV rays to protect dashboard and upholstery.

Is it easy to use and store when not in use?

Yes — installation is a one-step unfold-and-place action and removal is equally fast. When you’re done, the shade folds down to a compact bundle that fits into the included storage pouch so it won’t clutter your trunk or glovebox.

• Folds compactly for low-profile storage in the supplied pouch.
• Lightweight construction makes handling straightforward for one person.
• Durable seams and stitching maintain shape through repeated folding.

Which interior surfaces does this protect and what damage does it help prevent?

By reflecting sunlight and UV radiation, the shade reduces exposure to the dashboard, center console, steering wheel and seats. Over time this helps slow fading, drying and cracking that can be accelerated by prolonged sun exposure.

• Shields the dashboard surface and instrument panel from direct sun.
• Helps maintain seat and trim color and texture longer.
• Reduces interior heat that can warp or dry leather and plastic parts.

Who is this for: Drivers and owners of Honda CR-V models from 2017 through 2022 who want a hassle-free, tailored way to protect their vehicle’s interior and keep cabin temperatures lower while parked. It’s especially useful for people in sunny or hot climates, owners who value preserving resale condition, and anyone who wants a fast, reusable solution that stores compactly.
