INSAUTO Custom Fit Windscreen Sun Shade for Kia Optima 2016–2020 — Reflective 240T Polyester, Insulating Dual-Layer

INSAUTO’s custom windshield sun shade for the Kia Optima (2016–2020) is a precision-cut, reflective cover that blocks sunlight and helps keep your car interior cooler.

If you own a Kia Optima from model years 2016 through 2020 and want a sun protector engineered to match your windshield contours, this shade is tailored to fit exactly. Built with high-reflectivity fabric and an insulating inner layer, the shade reduces heat buildup, shields surfaces from UV exposure, and stashes away compactly when not needed.

How does this shade reduce cabin heat on sunny days?

The shade combines a reflective outer layer with an insulating inner layer to bounce sunlight away and limit heat transfer into the cabin. That two-layer approach lowers interior temperature and reduces the frequency and intensity of air conditioning use on hot days.

• 240T reflective polyester on the exterior for high solar reflectance
• Insulating inner layer that slows heat penetration to dashboard and seats
• Designed to block up to 99% of UV rays to protect interior materials

Will this actually fit my Optima without gaps or bulges?

Yes — the shade is cut to the exact windshield profile of Kia Optima models from 2016 through 2020. The tailored shape minimizes creasing and gaps, which improves coverage and performance compared with universal, one-size shades.

• Precision dimensions matched to Optima windshield curvature
• Edges and corners shaped to follow the factory glass outline
• Smoother installation because fewer adjustments are required

How easy is it to install, remove, and store?

Installation is quick: unfold the shade, position it against the windshield, and use your sun visors to hold it in place. When finished, fold it compactly and return it to the supplied storage pouch for neat, space-saving storage.

• Instant deployment—no straps or tools needed
• Folds down to a compact size for the included pouch
• Lightweight construction makes handling simple for one person

What materials and protection features are included?

The shade uses upgraded 240T reflective polyester treated with a UV-resistant coating, paired with an insulating layer that helps prevent cracking, discoloration, and other sun-related wear on interior surfaces. The combination prioritizes both reflectivity and durability for repeated use.

• 240T reflective polyester for strong sunlight reflection
• UV-resistant coating to guard dashboard, steering wheel, and upholstery
• Dual-layer construction for improved longevity and thermal performance

Who is this for: Drivers who own a Kia Optima from 2016–2020 and want a purpose-built windshield shade that fits precisely, shields interior surfaces from sun damage, and stores easily. It’s ideal for daily commuters, weekend parkers, and anyone who wants to reduce cabin heat and protect leather, vinyl, and plastics without compromising convenience.
