INSAUTO Windscreen Sun Shade for Honda CR-V 2012-2016 — Custom Fit, Reflective 240T Polyester

Designed specifically for Honda CR-V model years 2012 through 2016, this sun shade fits the windshield contours precisely so you get full coverage without awkward gaps. Built from upgraded 240T reflective polyester with a UV-resistant coating and an insulating inner layer, the shade reduces heat buildup, shields dashboards, and helps preserve steering wheels and upholstery from fading or cracking. It folds compactly into the included pouch for convenient storage between uses.

How does this shade reduce interior heat on hot days?

The INSAUTO shade combines a reflective outer surface with an insulating inner layer to reflect sunlight and slow heat transfer into the cabin. That lowers the greenhouse effect under the windshield and reduces the load on your air conditioning when you return to the vehicle.

• Reflective 240T polyester surface sends sunlight back out, minimizing radiant heat.
• Insulating inner layer prevents heat conduction into dashboard and seats.
• Helps decrease interior temperatures so the car feels cooler on startup.

Will this shade really fit my Honda CR-V windshield properly?

Yes — this sun shade was made to match the windshield shape and dimensions of Honda CR-V models from 2012 to 2016. The tailored cut provides edge-to-edge coverage so you avoid light leaks that occur with one-size-fits-all shades.

• Custom dimensions for 2012–2016 Honda CR-V windshields.
• Contour-matched design for full front window coverage.
• Easy placement and a secure fit without trimming or adjustments.

How easy is installation and storage?

Installation is fast and intuitive: unfold the shade, position it against the windshield, and use the vehicle’s sun visors or included fit aids to hold it in place. When you’re done, the shade folds back down to a compact size and stows in the supplied pouch for tidy storage in the glove box or trunk.

• Instant setup — unfold and place in seconds.
• Compact folding pattern for quick storage.
• Comes with a small storage pouch to keep the shade protected.

What material and UV protection does it provide?

The shade uses upgraded 240T reflective polyester with a UV-resistant coating to block sunlight and screen out up to 99% of harmful UV radiation. Its dual-layer construction improves reflectivity while offering extra durability and resistance to fading or edge wear.

• 240T reflective polyester outer layer for high reflectivity.
• UV-resistant coating protects interior plastics and fabrics.
• Dual-layer build for improved insulation and longevity.
