JFG RACING Carbon-fibre Pattern Battery Cover for SurRon Light Bee X/X-S — Heat-Resistant PP, Lightweight 230 g

JFG RACING's carbon-fiber patterned battery cover is a lightweight, high-temperature resistant replacement shell designed to protect and style the SurRon Light Bee X and X/S battery compartment.

Replace a scratched, cracked, or faded battery shroud with this molded polypropylene cover that combines a carbon-fiber look with practical durability. At roughly 230 grams, the cover balances protection with minimal added weight and resists fading and heat exposure better than basic plastics. It snaps into the SurRon Light Bee X/S location to hide and shield the battery while giving the bike a sharper, finished appearance.

How does this cover protect my SurRon Light Bee battery?

The cover acts as a barrier against impacts, debris, and UV exposure that can accelerate wear on your battery housing. Its robust polypropylene construction tolerates higher temperatures and is less prone to cracking than thinner shells. While it doesn't change internal battery function, it reduces the likelihood of physical damage from stones, branches, and light collisions.

• Made from heat-resistant PP to withstand engine-area temperatures
• Durable shell reduces chipping and cracking from external impacts
• Carbon-fiber patterned finish helps block UV-related fading

Will it fit my bike and how easy is installation?

This cover is sized for the SurRon Light Bee X and Light Bee X/S models and reproduces the original mounting footprint. At 26 cm × 15 cm × 6 cm, it aligns with the stock battery bay dimensions and weighs about 230 g. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic bolt or clip removal; no special tools are required, though manufacturer instructions are not included.

• Fitment explicitly for SurRon Light Bee X and X/S models
• Compact 26×15×6 cm size mirrors OEM coverage area
• Simple swap-in design — remove old cover, align new cover, secure

What does the carbon-fiber pattern add beyond looks?

The textured carbon-fiber appearance provides a modern, race-inspired aesthetic that complements aftermarket parts and factory trims. Beyond style, the patterned surface masks minor scratches and road grime better than a plain gloss finish, keeping the bike looking cleaner between washes. It gives your Light Bee a more aggressive visual profile without the cost or weight of real carbon fiber.

• Sporty carbon-fiber style upgrades bike appearance instantly
• Patterned finish conceals small scuffs and dirt
• More affordable and lighter than genuine carbon components
