JINCHEN Jeep Cherokee Grill Mesh Inserts 7-Piece Fit 2014-2018 – Matte Black ABS, Clip-On Protection

These JINCHEN 7-piece front grill mesh inserts are tailored ABS trim panels that clip into the Jeep Cherokee (2014–2018) grille to add a sleek black finish while blocking debris and preserving airflow.

If you want a straightforward, durable way to refresh the front end of your Jeep Cherokee without paint or permanent modification, these JINCHEN mesh inserts offer a low-profile solution. Molded from waterproof, corrosion-resistant ABS plastic, the inserts are made to withstand road grime, rain, and seasonal conditions while improving the vehicle’s visual presence. They are a bolt-free installation that fits the factory openings of the 2014–2018 Cherokee models.

Will these inserts fit my Jeep Cherokee 2016?

Yes — the kit is designed specifically to fit Jeep Cherokee model years 2014 through 2018. Before purchasing, quickly verify your vehicle year and inspect your factory grille shape to confirm it matches the standard Cherokee front fascia used across these years.

• Compatible with Jeep Cherokee 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
• Seven-piece set matches the stock multi-section grille layout.
• Intended for standard (non-modified) factory grilles.

How difficult is installation and does it require drilling?

Installation is tool-free and designed for a press-fit clip-on approach; no drilling or cutting is necessary. Each insert snaps into existing grille slots and stays secured by integrated clips. The process is reversible, so you can remove or replace inserts without damaging the original grille.

• No drilling, adhesives, or vehicle alterations required.
• Clip-on attachment engages with factory grille openings.
• Removable for cleaning or replacement.

What protection and airflow effects can I expect?

The ABS mesh blocks road debris such as stones, paper, and large grit while maintaining airflow to the engine bay. Its pattern reduces the chance of foreign objects entering vulnerable openings but is engineered to avoid restricting cooling performance under normal driving conditions.

• Prevents large debris from reaching radiator and cores.
• Perforated mesh preserves necessary airflow for cooling.
• Waterproof and corrosion-resistant material for long-term exposure.

How does the styling change the look of my Cherokee?

The bright black mesh delivers a cleaner, sportier front-end appearance that can modernize older grille finishes. Because the inserts sit inside the existing grille sections, they give a subtle but distinct contrast against chrome or painted surrounds, adding a personalized, aggressive touch.

• Matte/bright black finish for a refined, aftermarket look.
• Seven panels conform to the stock grille geometry for a factory-integrated look.
• Helps unify the front fascia without permanent modification.

Who this is for: The JINCHEN 7PCS grill mesh inserts suit Jeep Cherokee owners (2014–2018) who want an inexpensive aesthetic upgrade that also helps limit debris ingress. Ideal for drivers who prefer a non-permanent modification, need easy installation, or want to refresh the vehicle’s frontal styling while preserving factory airflow and serviceability.
