JOYTUTUS Rear Wrangler Side Window Sun Shade & Rain Cover for 2007–2026 JK/JL/Gladiator JT — Blackout, Mesh Ventilation (2-Piece)

This JOYTUTUS rear Wrangler side window sun shade is custom-shaped to follow the contours of 4-door Wrangler and Gladiator rear windows from 2007 through 2026. It combines a weatherproof outer panel with an inner mesh to give you flexible protection: shade from sunlight, a zipped insect barrier, and the option to open the outer flap for breezes without letting rain or bugs inside. The kit includes two matching covers and all retention webbing needed for quick installation and secure fitment.

How does this shade keep rain out while letting fresh air in?

The design uses an overlapping outer Oxford cloth flap and an inner mesh panel with a zipper. You can open the outer layer to allow airflow while zipping the inner mesh closed to stop insects; the outer flap still sheds rain so water doesn't run into the cabin.

• Outer waterproof Oxford cloth repels rainwater and sun.
• Inner fine mesh blocks mosquitoes and debris.
• Zippered inner panel lets you seal the mesh from inside the vehicle.
• Overlapping flap routes rain away from the window opening.

Will this fit my Wrangler or Gladiator model and how secure is the fit?

Each panel is cut to match the 4-door Wrangler JKU, JLU and Gladiator JT rear side window dimensions for model years 2007–2026. The kit uses retention webbing and attachment points that keep the shade snug against the window frame without blocking the glass or hindering door operation.

• Tailored pattern for JK, JL and JT rear side windows (4-door).
• Retention webbing holds covers tight during driving and camping.
• Designed to avoid interference with window glass movement.
• Two-piece set covers both left and right rear side windows.

How much sun, heat and privacy will these covers provide?

The exterior blackout panel significantly reduces direct sunlight and glare, lowering cabin heat buildup and improving comfort. When closed, the full-window coverage offers enhanced privacy; open the outer flap and leave the inner mesh zipped for airflow without exposing the cabin interior.

• Blackout outer layer cuts sun glare and visible light intrusion.
• Full-coverage design increases privacy when parked or sleeping inside.
• Inner mesh maintains airflow while preventing insects from entering.
• Helps create a cooler cabin when parked in sun-exposed areas.

How easy is installation and everyday use?

JOYTUTUS built the covers for quick attachment and removal so you can set them up in under a minute. The simple webbing and secure fasteners mean the panels stay in place during use, yet remove cleanly when you need unobstructed windows for driving or storage.

• Fast install/removal — under one minute once aligned.
• Retention straps keep cover flush with the window frame.
• Zipper access lets you open the inner mesh from inside the vehicle.
• Lightweight materials fold compactly for storage when not in use.
