KAYCENTOP Hitch Step for 2" Receiver — Black Anti-Slip Tow Bumper Step, 600 lb Capacity

KAYCENTOP Universal Hitch Step is a heavy-duty, anti-slip tow bumper step that fits 2" receivers and gives secure access to truck beds, roof racks and cargo areas with a 600 lb weight capacity.

This compact hitch-mounted step combines a solid-steel build and a textured rubber pad to create a stable stepping surface at the rear of pickup trucks, SUVs and many cars. Designed for standard 2-inch trailer receivers, the unit installs quickly using the included pin and offers an adjustable tube length for fine positioning. Its black powder coating protects metal surfaces from the elements while the wide step pad delivers confident footing during loading, maintenance or when reaching roof-mounted gear.

How does this hitch step make reaching your truck bed or roof easier?

The KAYCENTOP hitch step reduces the stretch and balance issues you encounter when loading cargo or accessing roof racks. By providing a fixed platform low to the bumper, it shortens the reach to the tailgate and roofline so you can step up safely and remain steady while working.

• Step pad measures 11-4/5" long and 4" wide for stable footing.
• 6" tube with five adjustment holes to set the step position precisely.
• Accepts standard 2" hitch receivers found on most trucks and SUVs.
• Hitch hole diameter 1/2" compatible with common hitch pins.

Is this hitch step durable enough for frequent use and weather exposure?

Yes — the step is fabricated from solid steel and finished with a black electrostatic powder coating to fend off rust and abrasion. The robust construction supports everyday hauling tasks and outdoor use across seasons without rapid wear.

• Solid iron core for high structural strength.
• Black powder/ED coating for corrosion resistance.
• Anti-slip rubber pad reduces slippage in wet or muddy conditions.
• Rated to hold up to 600 pounds under normal use.

How simple is installation and what tools or adjustments are needed?

Installation is plug-and-play: slide the step into the 2" receiver and secure it with the supplied hitch pin. No custom drilling or modifying of your vehicle is required, though small adjustments can improve fit and eliminate minor rattling in some receivers.

• Fits standard 2" trailer hitch—no adapters usually required.
• Includes pin for quick securing and removal.
• Adjustable tube with five holes for length and offset tweaks.
• Use rubber shims or tape if slight movement or rattle occurs.

Will this hitch step work with my specific vehicle or accessory setup?

The KAYCENTOP step is built for wide applicability across trucks, SUVs and many cars with a 2" receiver. It is also useful when accessing truck beds, roof racks, or rear cargo spaces, but always confirm your vehicle’s receiver size and clearance before purchase.

• Designed for vehicles with a standard 2" receiver hitch.
• Situationally useful for roof racks, bed rails and cargo areas.
• Check bumper and exhaust clearance to ensure safe fitment.
• Not intended as a substitute for ladder or full-height work platforms.

Who is this for: The KAYCENTOP Universal Hitch Step suits pickup owners, SUV drivers and anyone who frequently loads gear, mounts roof cargo, or otherwise needs a low, secure stepping platform. It’s a practical upgrade for tradespeople, outdoor enthusiasts and weekend DIYers who want a simple, durable step that installs easily and withstands rough use without taking up cargo space when not in use.
