KOCHCHEMIE Multi Star N 5L Alkaline Multi-Purpose Cleaner — Phosphate & NTA-Free, Paint- and Glass-Safe

KOCHCHEMIE Multi Star N is a highly dilutable, alkaline all-purpose cleaner that quickly dissolves road grime, bugs, tar and organic deposits while remaining safe on paint, glass and all wheel types.

Designed for professional detailers and keen car owners, Multi Star N offers concentrated cleaning power in a phosphate- and NTA-free formula. Its blend of potent surfactants and corrosion inhibitors makes it effective against stubborn deposits like bird droppings, tree sap and rim grime, yet gentle enough for delicate surfaces such as anodized aluminum. Available in a 5L supply, it adapts to a wide range of tasks through simple dilution adjustments.

How strong is Multi Star N and what dilution should I use?

The product is highly concentrated so you can adjust strength depending on the job: heavy-duty wheel or sap removal needs a strong mix, while general pre-wash calls for light dilution. Follow the recommended ratios to balance performance and economy and avoid prolonged dwell on sensitive parts.

• Wheel cleaning and heavy crusts: dilute 1:3
• Bug and tar removal: medium strength, around 1:10–1:20
• Pre-clean/pre-wash: dilute up to 1:50 for broad surface use
• Always rinse thoroughly after application

Is Multi Star N safe on painted surfaces, glass and wheels?

Yes—Multi Star N was formulated to be paint- and glass-safe when used as directed. It contains corrosion inhibitors that protect sensitive materials like anodized aluminum, while its alkaline yet phosphate- and NTA-free composition reduces environmental load.

• Safe on clear coat paintwork when rinsed promptly
• Compatible with all wheel types, including alloy and painted rims
• Works on glass for removing road film without leaving residues
• Avoid concentrated contact on unsealed polymers or decals

What application methods give the best results?

Multi Star N is versatile across common detailing tools—choose the application that matches soil level and surface area. For efficient coverage and dwell time, foam cannons and pressure washers are excellent; hand sprayers allow precise treatment for sap or stubborn spots.

• Foam cannon for full-vehicle pre-wash and even coverage
• Pressure washer for rapid rinsing after dwell time
• Hand sprayer for targeted bug, tar or sap removal
• Use soft brushes or mitts for agitation on tough deposits

What kind of soils does it remove and how quickly?

Formulated with high-quality cleaning agents and specialised surfactants, Multi Star N breaks down a wide range of exterior contaminants quickly. It efficiently dissolves organic and mineral deposits so they can be rinsed away with low mechanical effort.

• Removes road film and soot from lacquered surfaces
• Dissolves insect remains and tree sap for safer wipe-off
• Lifts tar and runway deposits from paint and rims
• Reduces the need for aggressive scrubbing when used correctly

Who is this for? Multi Star N is built for professional car washers, detailers and passionate vehicle owners who need a single, flexible cleaner that handles everything from routine pre-wash to heavy-duty wheel and tar treatment. If you require a concentrated, phosphate- and NTA-free cleaner with corrosion protection for delicate finishes and adaptable use across sprayers, foam systems and pressure washers, this 5L solution is a practical addition to your workshop or home detailing kit.
