KONA TOOLS Portable Fuel Transfer Pump KTEP01MRUSB — Battery/USB Powered, 3.2 GPM, Quick‑Stop Nozzle

The KONA TOOLS Portable Fuel Transfer Pump KTEP01MRUSB is a compact, battery-or-USB powered pump designed to move gasoline, diesel, DEF (AdBlue), or non‑potable water at up to 3.2 gallons per minute for fast, mess‑free refilling.

This lightweight pump combines quick flow with flexible power options so you can refill small tanks and containers without hauling heavy jugs. Built for garages, farms, boats, and campsites, the KTEP01MRUSB fits 3–20 gallon barrels and most portable fuel openings, includes a long discharge hose and suction tube, and stores cleanly with a built‑in nozzle holder. It’s intended for transfer tasks where convenience, portability, and safety controls matter.

How fast will this pump move fuel?

Expect a steady 3.2 gallons per minute flow rate under typical conditions, letting you refill small tanks or containers in minutes rather than pushing fuel by hand. Flow speed can vary with liquid type, container height, and suction distance.

• Rated flow: 3.2 gallons per minute (approx.)
• Works with gasoline, diesel, DEF (AdBlue), and non‑potable water
• Faster than manual siphoning or pouring for 3–20 gallon containers
• Actual speed influenced by hose routing and suction depth

What power options and safety rules should I follow?

The pump runs on four AA batteries or the included USB‑C to USB‑A power cable using a 5V/2A source. For safety, do not use USB‑C to USB‑C connections or fast chargers, which can deliver incompatible voltages and risk damage.

• Dual power: 4 AA batteries or USB‑C to USB‑A (DC 5V/2A)
• Avoid USB‑C to USB‑C and fast chargers per manufacturer guidance
• Slide switch for simple on/off control
• Quick‑stop safety nozzle and manual lock for continuous flow

How does it keep transfers tidy and reduce spills?

The KTEP01MRUSB includes a quick‑stop nozzle with a manual lock for hands‑free transfer and a nozzle holder for neat storage. A heavy‑duty rubber discharge hose and suction tube provide secure connections and reduce drips at the spout.

• Quick‑stop nozzle prevents overfilling and hammering of liquid backflow
• Manual nozzle lock enables unattended, continuous pumping when needed
• Built‑in nozzle holder keeps the tip off dirty surfaces between uses
• 4.3 ft rubber discharge hose and 19" suction tube minimize splash

Which applications and containers is the pump best suited for?

Designed for portable tanks and drums, the pump works well with vehicles and small equipment: cars, boats, ATVs, tractors, generators, and snowmobiles. It’s ideal for maintenance at home, on the farm, at the dock, or out camping.

• Compatible with 3–20 gallon barrels and most container openings
• Suitable for automotive, marine, agricultural, and outdoor power equipment
• Compact size makes it portable for roadside or remote use
• Not intended for potable drinking water or incompatible chemical use
