KUST Windscreen Sun Shade for BMW i3 2014-2022 — Custom-Fit Foldable UV Protector, Double-Layer Insulation

KUST's custom windshield sun shade blocks sunlight and UV while keeping BMW i3 cabins noticeably cooler.

If you own a BMW i3 from 2014 through 2022, this tailored sun visor is cut to fit the windshield precisely so there are no gaps along the edges. Built from double-layer 250T reflective polyester with extra thermal insulation, the shade reduces heat buildup, protects dash and upholstery from fading, and helps your air conditioning reach a comfortable temperature faster.

How does this sun shade lower interior temperature quickly?

The shade uses two reflective layers plus two insulating layers to reflect sunlight and slow heat transfer into the cabin. That means less radiant heat enters through the glass, so your parked car starts out cooler and the AC doesn’t have to work as hard when you return.

• Double reflective 250T polyester keeps radiant heat away from the interior.
• Insulating layers reduce conduction through the windshield glass.
• Custom-fit coverage minimizes gaps where heat can sneak in.

Will this fit my BMW i3 model year and stay in place?

The shade is specifically designed for BMW i3 models from 2014 to 2022, covering the entire windshield with a perfect fit and no edge gaps. It installs quickly without suction cups or adhesive and stays in shape thanks to an elastic memory steel wire built into the frame.

• Vehicle-specific pattern for BMW i3 2014–2022 ensures full coverage.
• Elastic memory steel wire resists deformation and retains shape.
• Simple install/unfold method — twist like a figure-eight to store compactly.

How does the KUST shade protect interior surfaces and save energy?

Blocking up to 99% of sun glare and UV helps prevent fading and cracking of dashboards, leather, and fabric seats. By lowering cabin temperature, the shade shortens the time and energy the air conditioning needs to cool the car, which can reduce fuel or battery use during initial cooling.

• Blocks up to 99% of direct sunlight and UV exposure.
• Preserves dash, trim, and upholstery from heat-related wear.
• Reduces initial AC runtime for faster comfort and lower energy use.

Is the shade easy to carry, install, and store when not in use?

Yes — the foldable construction and memory steel wire let the shade collapse into a compact shape and pop back open in seconds. No suction cups or adhesive tape are needed, so you can install or remove it in moments and tuck it into the trunk or under a seat.

• Quick fold/unfold design for effortless daily use.
• No adhesives or suction required — clean windshield surface every time.
• Compact storage fits most trunks or under-seat areas in the i3.

Who is this for: BMW i3 owners who want a precise, durable sunshade that shields interior surfaces and lowers cabin heat without complicated installation. It’s ideal for commuters, city drivers, families, and anyone who wants to protect their EV or petrol vehicle from sun damage while improving comfort on hot days.
