KUST Windscreen Sun Shade for Subaru Crosstrek (2012–2017 & 2018–2023) — Foldable UV-Blocking, Double-Layer 260T Reflective

KUST's custom windshield sun shade is a foldable, double-layer protector engineered to fit Subaru Crosstrek (2012–2017 & 2018–2023) windshields and block up to 99% of sun and UV heat.

Keep your Crosstrek cooler and safeguard the interior with a shade tailored to your model's windshield shape. This sunshade uses a dense 260T reflective fabric with two layers — a silver reflective exterior and a black insulating interior — to reduce heat buildup, protect dashboards and upholstery from fading, and let your air conditioning work more efficiently after parking in the sun.

How does this sun shade fit my specific Subaru Crosstrek model?

The KUST sun shade is cut and contoured for both 2012–2017 Subaru Crosstrek/XV and 2018–2023 Subaru Crosstrek windshields, providing edge-to-edge coverage without gaps. Its tailored shape ensures secure contact at common mounting points and a neater appearance than universal, one-size shades.

• Precisely sized for the listed model years to match windshield curvature.
• Full-coverage design prevents sun from entering around the edges.
• Stable fit reduces movement when doors are opened and closed.

What materials are used and how do they block heat and UV?

This shade uses 260T reflective fabric with a double-thickness construction: a silver reflective outer layer to bounce sunlight and a black inner layer for additional insulation. The layered structure minimizes interior temperature rise and screens up to 99% of damaging UV rays that fade leather, vinyl, and plastics.

• 260T fabric for higher density and durability.
• Silver-facing outward reflects solar radiation away from the car.
• Black inner layer reduces radiant heat transfer into the cabin.

Will it improve air conditioning performance and save energy?

By lowering how hot the cabin gets while parked, the KUST shade cuts the workload on your AC, letting it cool the vehicle faster when you return. Less idle cooling time means reduced fuel or battery use and a more comfortable drive shortly after startup.

• Reduces initial cabin temperature, so AC reaches set temperature faster.
• Helps save fuel or battery life compared with cooling from a very hot interior.
• Convenient for daily parking in sun-exposed or warm climates.

How easy is it to install, store, and care for the shade?

Installation is quick: align the shade to the windshield and secure it in place — no special tools needed. The product is foldable and resilient; fold it using the recommended figure-8 twist to compactly store it in the trunk or under a seat. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed; avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve reflective coating.

• Simple alignment installation; no adhesives or clips required.
• Foldable design with strong resilience for compact storage.
• Low-maintenance: surface wipe-cleanable to remove dust or grime.

Who is this for: drivers of Subaru Crosstrek models from 2012–2017 or 2018–2023 who want a model-matched windshield shade to keep interiors cooler, protect upholstery and dash from UV damage, and reduce AC load. It's ideal for daily commuters, families, rideshare drivers, and anyone parking regularly in direct sunlight who prefers a neatly fitted, durable sun protector tailored to their Crosstrek.
