LATCH.IT RV Step Covers 18" Wide 4-Pack — Double-Layer Anti-Slip Camper Stair Rugs, Fits 8–11" Deep Steps

LATCH.IT RV Step Covers are heavy-duty, double-layer 18-inch-wide stair rugs that wrap and protect each RV step, keeping dirt out while adding comfort and anti-slip coverage for people and pets.

These LATCH.IT stair covers arrive as a four-pack designed to fit standard RV and camper steps 8–11 inches deep. Built from UV-resistant, double-layer polyester with reinforced metal grommets and tension springs, the covers are made to withstand repeated foot traffic, sun exposure, and outdoor dirt. Installation takes just a few minutes: lay the rug on the step, secure the springs into the grommets, and trim only if you need to tweak fit. They’re washable with soap and water and packaged ready to gift.

How do these step covers protect my RV and reduce cleaning?

They form a removable barrier between shoes, paws, and the step metal, trapping dirt, sand, and grime until you remove and rinse them. The wraparound design shields step edges and hides scuffs while protecting against hot metal on sunny days.

• Double-layer polyester resists fraying and shields steps from abrasion.
• Wraparound fit covers full tread and front edge of each step.
• Machine-washable-friendly fabric—clean with soap and water.
• Reduces interior dirt tracked into the RV by containing debris on the mat.

Will they fit my RV steps and how are they installed?

Each rug is 18 inches wide and adjustable for steps that measure between 8 and 11 inches deep thanks to the included tension springs and multiple grommet points. If a top step lacks a pass-through hole the rug may not fit; check electric-step clearance too, since thicker material can cause tighter folding.

• Fits step depths: 8"–11"; width: 18" across the tread.
• Includes tension springs and metal grommets for secure attachment.
• Simple install: lay rug, hook springs through grommets, adjust tension.
• Verify top-step pass-through hole and electric-step clearance before purchase.

How durable are the materials and how do I maintain them?

LATCH.IT uses a double-layer polyester construction and all-metal hardware to resist fading, tearing, and corrosion. The fabric is UV-resistant and built to stand up to sun exposure and repeated cleaning; maintenance is quick and requires only mild soap and rinsing.

• Double-layer polyester prevents fraying and adds thickness for comfort.
• All-metal grommets and springs resist rust and provide long-lasting hold.
• UV-resistant dye helps the color stay vibrant under sunlight.
• Easy cleanup with soap, water, and a quick rinse—air dry recommended.

Do these step covers protect pets and improve safety?

The cushioned, textured fabric creates a softer, non-slip surface for pets and people, reducing paw and shoe contact with hot or sharp metal edges. They help pets feel more secure when climbing steps and reduce slips on smooth metal treads.

• Provides traction for pets and human footwear on outdoor steps.
• Covers sharp step edges that can hurt paws or shoes.
• Thicker construction adds comfort for joints and paw pads.
• Wraparound coverage minimizes gaps where dirt or grit can collect.

Who is this for: LATCH.IT RV Step Covers are ideal for RV owners who want faster cleanup, added traction, and protection for pets and family. They suit frequent campers, pet owners, and anyone looking to preserve step finish and reduce dirt carried into their camper. Before buying, measure your steps (8–11" deep preferred) and confirm any top-step pass-through or electric-step folding clearance.
