Lippert Components On-The-Go Telescoping RV Ladder — 12'6" Extension, 330 lb Capacity, Lightweight Aluminium

The Lippert On-The-Go telescoping ladder is a lightweight, receiver-mounted ladder that extends up to 12'6" and retracts to 33.5" to help RV owners safely access roofs on prepped campers.

If your RV was factory-prepped with a Lippert ladder receiver, this telescoping On-The-Go Ladder provides a portable, easy-to-store solution for roof access, routine maintenance, and inspections. Constructed from aluminum with grooved foot rungs and rubberized feet, it balances low weight with a 330 lb capacity. The ladder extends at an angle, locks securely on each rung, and stows compactly for transport in your tow vehicle or garage.

How does this ladder attach and fit my RV?

The On-The-Go ladder is engineered to insert directly into Lippert ladder receivers factory-installed on compatible 5th wheels, travel trailers, and motorhomes. No assembly is necessary — simply slide it into the receiver and lock it in place before extending.

• Compatible only with units that have the Lippert receiver factory-prep.
• Tool-free installation: insert and secure into the mounted receiver.
• Designed for common RV rear-mount receiver locations for a snug fit.

What are the ladder’s dimensions, capacity, and portability features?

This ladder stretches to a maximum working height of 12'6" and can extend 22" above the RV roofline to provide better grip and leverage when climbing. When collapsed it measures 33.5" and weighs under 25 lbs., making it easy to carry and store. It supports up to 330 lbs., combining lightweight construction with strong load capability.

• Extended height: 12'6" maximum; reaches 22" above roofline.
• Retracted length: 33.5" for compact storage and transport.
• Unit weight: under 25 lbs., capacity: 330 lb rating.

How does the ladder ensure user safety while climbing?

Safety features include 1.5" deep grooved rungs for traction, molded rubber feet to reduce slipping on ground surfaces, and 5/8" steel locking pins that secure each section as you extend or retract. The ladder's angled deployment helps stabilize each step relative to the RV body.

• Grooved, deep rungs improve foot grip in wet or dusty conditions.
• Rubberized feet add stability and protect contact surfaces.
• High-strength 5/8" steel locking pins lock each rung securely.
