Lippert Components On-The-Go Telescoping RV Ladder 14.5 ft — Retracts to 35.75 in, 330 lb Capacity

The Lippert On-The-Go telescoping RV ladder is a lightweight, receiver-compatible ladder that extends up to 14.5 feet for safer roof access and retracts to 35.75 inches for compact storage.

Designed specifically for RVs equipped with the Lippert ladder receiver, this portable aluminum ladder gives owners a stable, easy-to-carry solution for roof checks, cleaning, and light maintenance. At 27 pounds and built with 5/8" steel locking pins, molded rubber feet, and deep grooved rungs, it balances portability with a substantial 330 lb. load capacity. The ladder extends at a slight angle to improve footing and can reach approximately 22" above most RV roofs to make getting on and off safer and more comfortable.

How quickly can I attach and extend the Lippert On-The-Go ladder?

Attachment and deployment are designed for speed and simplicity: the ladder slides into the existing Lippert ladder receiver and secures without extra assembly. Each step features a positive locking mechanism, so you can extend to the desired height in seconds and be confident the ladder will remain locked while you climb.

• Tool-free attachment to Lippert ladder receiver
• Individual step locks using 5/8" steel pins
• Fast extension and secure retraction with a hook-and-loop transport strap

What stability and safety features does this ladder include?

The ladder is built to prioritize stable, predictable performance on variable surfaces. It extends at an angled orientation that improves balance when stepping on and off the roof, and the grooved 1.5" deep rungs increase traction underfoot. Molded rubber feet reduce slipping on pavement or campsite ground.

• 330 lb. rated capacity for heavier users and gear
• Grooved, deep foot rungs for extra grip
• Molded rubber feet to help prevent sliding and surface damage

How portable is it for storage, transport, and use on the road?

Portability is a core advantage: the ladder weighs about 27 lbs and collapses to just 35.75" so it fits inside many RV compartments, tow vehicles, or small garages. A supplied hook-and-loop strap holds the ladder compact for carrying and reduces rattling during travel.

• Retracts to 35-3/4" for compact storage
• 27 lb. aluminum build minimizes added weight to your rig
• Included strap secures ladder for transport and handling

Will this ladder work with my RV and what installation steps are required?

The On-The-Go ladder is intended for RVs equipped with a Lippert ladder receiver; it is not a universal mount and requires the receiver to slide into. Installation is straightforward — insert the ladder into the receiver and confirm the locking engagement. No drilling or complex mounting hardware is needed if your RV already has the compatible bracket.

• Compatible only with Lippert ladder receiver-equipped RVs
• No assembly required beyond receiver insertion
• Remove and stow quickly when not in use

This ladder is for RV owners who need a practical, portable solution for occasional roof access: campers who perform routine inspections, wash or maintain roof-mounted equipment, or want a lightweight emergency access ladder. It’s best for rigs that already have the Lippert ladder receiver and for users seeking a balance of stability, compact storage, and easy handling without permanent ladder installation.
