LUMENIX 2" Aluminium Trailer Hitch Cover with Black American Flag — Heavy-Duty Lockable 2-inch Receiver Plug

LUMENIX 2" aluminum tow trailer hitch cover with a black American flag emblem protects 2-inch receivers while adding a rugged, lockable finish.

This heavy-duty hitch plug closes off your trailer receiver to keep out dirt, water and road debris while giving your truck or SUV a distinctive look. Machined from corrosion-resistant aluminum with an embossed American flag, the LUMENIX cover combines weather-ready durability, a noise-dampening rubber seal and a simple locking pin for everyday peace of mind on the road.

How does this hitch cover protect my receiver from the elements?

The cover seals the open 2" receiver to block sand, grit and moisture that can accelerate rust or interfere with hitch hardware. Its aluminum construction resists corrosion, and an electroplated finish adds an extra layer of surface protection against scratches and fading.

• High-strength aluminum alloy body for long-lasting corrosion resistance
• Electroplated surface that resists chips and retains texture
• Built-in rubber O-ring to keep out water and reduce rattling
• Designed to fit standard 2" receivers used on most trucks and SUVs

Will it stay secure while driving and is installation easy?

Yes—installation is tool-free: slide the cover into the 2" receiver and secure it using the included lock pin. The lock pin holds the plug in place during highway use, while the rubber seal minimizes movement and road noise on rough surfaces.

• Simple push-in placement—no special tools required
• Includes a 5/8" diameter locking pin for theft deterrence
• Rubber ring cushions against vibration and prevents rattling
• Quick to remove when attaching towing accessories

Which vehicles and situations is this cover compatible with?

The LUMENIX hitch plug is designed for universal compatibility with standard 2" trailer hitch receivers found on pickup trucks, SUVs and many off-road vehicles. Note that it is not compatible with certain models that use different pin sizes or receiver shapes—confirm your receiver dimensions before ordering.

• Fits standard 2" receiver openings on most trucks and SUVs
• Not compatible with vehicles requiring a different pin diameter (e.g., some Tundra/Tacoma variants)
• Durable for everyday driving, off-road use, and outdoor parking
• Pack includes the hitch cover and all mounting hardware

How does the design add to my vehicle’s appearance?

The embossed American flag offers a bold, patriotic accent that replaces a plain receiver with a finished, custom look. The black, textured finish reads as both functional and decorative—complementing matte or gloss bumpers while projecting a rugged aesthetic.

• Embossed metal flag for a standout, durable emblem
• Matte black electroplated finish that pairs with most truck styles
• Precision machining for a clean, professional fit
• Enhances vehicle curb appeal while providing practical protection

Who is this for? The LUMENIX Aluminum Tow Trailer Hitch Cover is ideal for truck and SUV owners who want a robust, low-maintenance way to protect a 2" hitch receiver while adding distinctive styling. It works best for drivers who park outdoors, take vehicles off-road, or simply prefer a locked, debris-free receiver that looks finished and stays quiet during trips. Confirm your receiver uses a standard 2" opening and a 5/8" lock pin before purchasing.
