Lumitronics RV 12-inch LED Porch Light — Black Clear Lens, 124.6 Lumens, Weatherproof 12V

The Lumitronics RV 12 inch LED Scare Porch Light is a weatherproof, low-draw 12V exterior fixture that delivers a bright, even 124.6-lumen LED wash for RV doorways, awnings, and work areas.

Designed specifically for recreational vehicles, travel trailers, and motorhomes, this 12-inch clear-lens porch light pairs a corrosion-resistant black base with an all-weather molded lens to give wide, unobstructed illumination. Its low electrical draw preserves your RV battery while the long-life LEDs reduce maintenance and bulb changes. Mounting hardware is included for a straightforward install using common hand tools and standard 12V RV wiring.

How bright is this Lumitronics porch light and what area will it cover?

The fixture is rated at 124.6 lumens and uses a clear lens to maximize light output, creating an even glow rather than a focused beam. It’s sized just over 12 inches in diameter to light entryways, steps, small awning areas, and nearby work zones effectively.

• 124.6 lumens total output for wide-area illumination
• Clear molded lens for unfiltered brightness
• 12+ inch diameter fits common RV porch locations
• Even light distribution reduces harsh shadows at doors

Is this light durable enough for outdoor RV use?

Yes — the Lumitronics porch light is built for exterior exposure. The black base is corrosion-resistant and the clear lens is molded to withstand weather, making it suitable for campers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes where moisture and road vibration are concerns.

• All-weather molded clear lens resists cracking and discoloration
• Durable black base plate resists corrosion from road salt and moisture
• Sealed design minimizes water ingress at the mounting points
• LEDs mounted for long life despite vibration and temperature swings

How easy is installation and what electrical connection does it need?

Installation is straightforward: the fixture mounts in minutes using the included screws and common hand tools, and it connects to standard 12V RV wiring. The light’s low current draw makes it a practical replacement or upgrade without needing a heavier electrical system.

• Designed for standard 12V RV electrical systems
• Mounting screws included for quick attachment
• Simple wiring for positive and negative 12V connections
• Low power consumption protects RV battery life

What maintenance and lifespan can I expect from the LEDs?

The Lumitronics LEDs are selected for long operational life and minimal upkeep. Because the light uses solid-state LEDs rather than replaceable bulbs, you should expect years of service with no routine bulb changes, provided the housing remains intact and sealed.

• Low-draw LEDs reduce battery strain during use
• Long-life LED assemblies avoid frequent replacements
• Minimal maintenance beyond keeping the lens clean
• Robust mounting reduces stress that can damage fixtures

Who is this for: The Lumitronics RV 12 inch LED Scare Porch Light is ideal for RV owners, vanlifers, and travelers who want bright, dependable exterior illumination with minimal power consumption. It fits campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes where a wide, even light is needed at doors, steps, awnings or small work areas. Choose this model if you value easy installation, weather resistance, and long-life LEDs that keep maintenance low while improving nighttime safety and convenience.
