Lypumso Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap 4in x 30ft — Self-Adhesive Chrome Delete Tape with Air-Release, Heat-Stretchable

Lypumso Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap is a 4-inch by 30-foot self-adhesive trim tape designed to hide chrome and refresh door and window trim with a durable, high-gloss finish.

Swap shiny chrome trim for a sleek black look without painting or permanent modification: this gloss black blackout tape from Lypumso is a flexible, air-release vinyl roll made for automotive and architectural detailing. It ships with a felt squeegee and craft knife to simplify DIY installs and is built to conform to curves, resist weathering, and remove cleanly when you want to revert to the original finish.

How does this vinyl wrap handle curved trim and tight edges?

The film is formulated to be highly flexible and stretchable so it conforms to contours and wraps around edges without lifting. Hot-melt adhesive and an air-release backing let you reposition and smooth the vinyl for a precise, professional-looking fit.

• Built-in air-release channels for bubble-free application
• Soft, stretchable vinyl that follows curves and corners
• Heat-activated stretch for complex shapes using a heat gun
• Strong adhesive yet removable without residue when heated

Will this tape withstand outdoor exposure like rain and sun?

Lypumso gloss vinyl is engineered to resist common automotive stresses such as moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations. While not a permanent paint replacement, it provides durable cosmetic protection and keeps its high-gloss appearance under regular driving conditions.

• Water- and dust-resistant surface for everyday weather
• Scratch-resistant finish to reduce light abrasions
• Heat-tolerant adhesive maintains bond in varying temperatures
• Removes cleanly when heated — no chemical stripping required

What tools and techniques make installation easier for beginners?

The roll arrives with basic installation tools and benefits from simple hand tools and a little heat. Use the included felt squeegee to eliminate bubbles and a craft knife for precise trimming; a heat gun helps the film stretch around tight radii for a seamless result.

• Included felt squeegee reduces scratching during smoothing
• Craft knife enables accurate trimming to trim lines and corners
• Heat gun recommended for stretching and conforming to shapes
• Work slowly: repositioning is possible before full adhesion sets

What surfaces and applications are suitable for this blackout tape?

Designed as a versatile detailing film, this gloss vinyl adheres best to smooth, non-porous surfaces. It’s ideal for exterior trim, door surrounds, mirror housings, and interior accents, and also works for small accessories and gadgets.

• Exterior window and door trim, mirror casings, and moldings
• Interior trim accents, dash or console edges on non-porous plastics
• Accessories such as phone cases, key fobs, and metal parts
• Works on cars, motorcycles, boats, and many architectural fixtures
