MAIMEIMI OBD2 & GPS dual-system HUD projects your speed and engine data onto a clear windshield display so you can monitor MPH, RPM, temp, PSI, voltage, odo and alarms without glancing down.
This MAIMEIMI heads-up display combines an OBD2 connection and a GPS receiver to give you dual-mode speed readouts and a broad set of in-car metrics in real time. Plug into the OBD2 port on most 2008+ compatible petrol cars or use the GPS module for universal speed detection. The unit shows more than 15 parameters and supports configurable alarms for overspeed, overheating, abnormal voltage and RPM limits, letting you keep attention on the road while staying informed.
The HUD can read vehicle-sourced data through OBD2 when available, giving engine-verified values like RPM, coolant temperature and fuel consumption. If your car’s OBD2 is incompatible or unavailable, the GPS mode supplies reliable speed information for any 12V vehicle. Switching between modes ensures you still get accurate speed and diagnostic data wherever OBD access is possible.
The MAIMEIMI HUD displays over 15 real-time metrics so you can watch key performance indicators at a glance. In addition to speed and RPM, it shows water temperature, voltage, turbo or PSI where available, total mileage, travel time/distance, fuel consumption, air-fuel ratio and direction. You can set audible or visual alerts to warn when readings exceed limits you choose.
Installation is intentionally simple: either plug the OBD2 plug into the vehicle port or connect the supplied GPS module and position the projector on the dash. No complex wiring or professional fitting is required for most users. The HUD supports Android and iOS via an app for additional features like turn indication and configuration.
OBD2 mode works on most vehicles that use OBDII/EOBD protocols (generally 2008 and newer), but some makes and models are not supported by the OBD interface. GPS mode will provide speed readouts everywhere there is adequate satellite reception; expect reduced accuracy in tunnels or underground parking. Check compatibility before relying on OBD diagnostics.
Who is this for? Drivers who want a compact, low-effort HUD to reduce distraction and monitor multiple vehicle parameters—commuters, frequent travelers, and anyone who prefers keeping eyes on the road while tracking speed, engine health and trip data. If you need both engine-sourced diagnostics and a universal GPS speed readout in one device, the MAIMEIMI dual-system HUD is designed to deliver practical telemetry and safety alerts without complicated installation.
Q: Will the OBD2 HUD work with any car?
A: GPS mode works in most 12V vehicles, but OBD2 mode requires OBDII/EOBD compatibility. Some brands and hybrids/diesels are not supported for OBD2.
Q: Can I set overspeed and temperature alarms?
A: Yes. The HUD provides configurable visual and audible alerts for overspeed, high coolant temperature, abnormal voltage and RPM limits.
