Will this bracket fit my Dometic Sunchaser Polar awning?

How durable is the Malae support bracket for outdoor use?

These brackets are built to handle routine exposure to sun, wind, and road vibration typical of RV travel. The construction is heavy-duty to resist bending and to preserve the awning’s alignment over time.

• Robust material and reinforced bracket geometry for strength
• Corrosion-resistant finish suitable for exterior mounting
• Engineered to withstand regular awning operation and travel stresses

How difficult is installation and what comes in the package?

Installation is designed to be user-friendly for DIYers and technicians familiar with RV awnings. The package contains both bottom brackets so you have the necessary pair to replace the left and right mounts.

• Includes two bottom brackets — no need to buy additional mounts
• Matches factory wall-mount configuration for straightforward swap-in
• Typical install only requires basic hand tools and common fasteners

What problems does replacing the bottom bracket solve?

Replacing worn or broken bottom brackets restores secure attachment points and can eliminate awning sag, uneven deployment, and excessive noise during travel. Fresh brackets also reduce stress on adjacent hardware and the awning fabric.

• Corrects misalignment and uneven awning tension
• Stops rattling or shifting caused by loose or damaged mounts
• Helps prevent further wear to arms, fabric, and related components
