Maxshine M8 Universal Soft Drill Brush Kit — 2" & 4" White Polypropylene Brushes for Leather, Fabric & Upholstery Cleaning

Maxshine Universal M8 soft drill brush kit is a pair of gentle 2" and 4" polypropylene-bristle attachments made to lift dirt, stains and grime from leather, fabric, upholstery and convertible tops when used with a compatible drill.

This Maxshine kit provides a drill-powered cleaning option that balances effective agitation with protection for delicate surfaces. The set includes two brush sizes so you can tackle tight seams and large panels alike; soft transparent polypropylene bristles are engineered to loosen soil without roughing up leather, vinyl, or woven fabrics. Designed for M8 drill adapters, these brushes convert standard drills into efficient fabric and interior cleaners for cars, boats, furniture and home textiles.

How will these brushes help clean leather and delicate upholstery?

The soft polypropylene bristles deliver steady agitation that lifts surface dirt and embedded grime without scraping or abrading sensitive materials. Using a drill’s rotational power reduces elbow fatigue and speeds cleaning compared with hand-scrubbing.

• Soft, flexible bristles protect leather finishes and vinyl seams.
• 2" brush reaches seams, creases and small trim areas.
• 4" brush covers larger seats and cushion faces faster.
• Use with mild cleaner for safe, controlled stain removal.

Which areas and fabrics are best suited for the Maxshine M8 brushes?

The kit is intended for interior surfaces such as automotive seats, convertible tops, boat upholstery, carpeted trim, and household fabric furniture. It’s especially useful where a gentle touch is required but power agitation speeds the process.

• Leather and faux leather seats and panels.
• Cloth upholstery, carpets and floor mats.
• Vinyl, canvas and convertible soft tops.
• Fabric office chairs and household cushions.

How do I use the brushes safely with my drill?

Attach the brush to a compatible M8 drill adapter and secure it to your drill’s chuck; start at low speed and test a hidden area first. Keep motion steady, avoid excessive pressure, and work in short passes to prevent heat buildup on sensitive surfaces.

• Use a moderate RPM—avoid high-speed settings on delicate leather.
• Pair with pH-appropriate, mild cleaners for best results.
• Wipe residue with a microfiber towel after brushing.
• Rinse brushes after use and air dry to preserve bristle shape.

What makes the bristles and sizes practical for everyday cleaning?

Made from 100% polypropylene, the bristles combine softness with durability, resisting deformation and drying quickly after rinsing. The two-size approach offers precision where needed and efficient coverage on larger surfaces, giving a versatile kit for routine maintenance or deeper spot-cleaning.

• Polypropylene resists moisture and common cleaners.
• Transparent soft bristles reduce the risk of surface marking.
• 2" and 4" sizes suit trim, seams and broad panels.
• Lightweight design reduces user fatigue during longer jobs.

Who is this for? The Maxshine Universal M8 soft brush kit is aimed at vehicle owners, detailers, marine enthusiasts and homeowners who need a gentle but effective powered solution for fabric and leather care. If you regularly clean interior upholstery, convertible tops, or delicate furniture and want to speed up the process while minimizing surface wear, this two-brush set is a practical, adaptable choice.
