MechanMagic Jeep Key Fob Replacement for Wrangler 2018–2024 & Gladiator 2019–2025 — Proximity Smart, 433 MHz, Pre‑assembled

A ready-to-program MechanMagic replacement key fob that matches the original Jeep proximity smart key for 2018–2024 Wrangler and 2019–2025 Gladiator models. This MechanMagic remote is a direct-replacement smart key shell and electronics assembly built to the FCC ID OHT1130261 specification and tuned to 433 MHz signal frequency. It arrives pre-assembled with battery and internal electronics so a qualified locksmith or dealership can program it to your vehicle; self-programming is not supported. The unit fits vehicles using push-button start systems and corresponds to part numbers like 68416784AB/68416784AA and 68416782AA where compatible.

How do I know this fob will fit my Jeep model?

The MechanMagic fob is built for the proximity key systems used on Jeep Wrangler model years 2018 through 2024 and Gladiator model years 2019 through 2025. It follows the OEM FCC ID and part-number compatibility list to match the factory remote’s shape, button layout, and electronic module.

• Compatible FCC ID: OHT1130261 and 433 MHz frequency
• Fits Wrangler 2018–2024 and Gladiator 2019–2025 push-button start models
• Works with part numbers: 68416784AB, 68416784AA, 68416782AA (verify vehicle fitment)
• Not compatible with keyed-ignition (non-push-button) vehicles

What comes in the box and is it ready to install?

Each MechanMagic key fob ships fully assembled with battery and electronics already installed and pre-tested for quality. Because the internal module is present, the new remote must be programmed by a professional locksmith or an authorized dealer to pair it to your vehicle’s immobilizer and remote functions.

• 1x complete keyless entry remote control with battery and electronics
• Pre-tested electronics to ensure basic function out of package
• Professional programming by locksmith/dealer required
• Includes the same button layout and proximity features as the factory fob

How do I get this fob programmed and working with my Jeep?

MechanMagic supplies a ready-to-program remote, but it does not include instructions for self-programming; the vehicle’s security requires dealer or locksmith tools to add the fob to your car. Bring the vehicle and new remote to a qualified service provider who can access the car’s immobilizer and synchronize the key’s transponder and remote functions.

• Programming requires dealership or qualified locksmith tools
• Bring vehicle VIN and proof of ownership if requested
• Allow the technician to confirm frequency and FCC ID compatibility
• Expect standard programming times and any dealer fees

What practical differences should I expect compared with the factory key?

The MechanMagic replacement is manufactured to match original form and function but is sold as an aftermarket remote. It provides the same proximity unlock/lock and push-button start compatibility when properly programmed, though warranty and programming service will be handled through your service provider rather than the vehicle manufacturer’s original package.

• Same button layout and proximity operation after programming
• Includes battery and electronics for immediate testing by pro technician
• Sold as aftermarket replacement — consult dealer for warranty specifics
• Ideal as a spare or direct replacement for a lost/damaged factory key

This MechanMagic key fob is intended for Jeep owners who need an OEM-style replacement for push-button start Wranglers or Gladiators. It’s best for drivers who want a pre-assembled, tested remote and are prepared to have it professionally programmed — a practical choice for replacing a lost key, keeping a backup on hand, or restoring full remote access after fob damage.
