MechanMagic Toyota key fob replacement 2-Pack — GQ43VT20T compatible, preinstalled battery & ready-to-program

MechanMagic's 2-pack replacement key fobs are pre-programmable, battery-installed remote controls built to replace Toyota GQ43VT20T three-button keyless remotes for select 2004–2017 Toyota models.

If your original Toyota keyless remote is lost, damaged, or no longer communicating with your vehicle, these MechanMagic fobs offer a ready-to-program replacement that arrives with electronics and battery already installed. Each set includes two matching remotes made to match the FCC ID GQ43VT20T and compatible with many Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, Sienna, Sequoia, and Highlander model years. They are designed for standard keyed models (not push-to-start vehicles) and ship fully tested to reduce setup surprises.

Which Toyota models and years will these remotes work with?

These MechanMagic remotes are built to fit a broad range of Toyota vehicles that originally used the GQ43VT20T remote shape and frequency. Confirm your vehicle’s part number or use the fitment tool before purchase to ensure compatibility.

• Compatible ranges include: 2007–2017 Tundra, 2005–2016 Tacoma, 2004–2015 Sienna.
• Also fits 2008–2016 Sequoia and 2008–2013 Highlander models using FCC ID GQ43VT20T.
• Not compatible with push-button start / smart key systems—only regular keyed ignition models.
• Cross-references include part numbers 89742-AE010 and 89742-AE011; check fitment before ordering.

How easy is it to get the replacement fob programmed and working?

Programming depends on your vehicle year and model. Some Toyotas allow owner self-programming, while others require a dealer or locksmith to complete the pairing. MechanMagic includes printed links and instructions in the package to guide you through the process.

• Some models: follow step-by-step self-program instructions included in the package links.
• Other models: require dealer or professional locksmith programming for immobilizer sync.
• Every fob is pre-tested with professional locksmith tools before shipping to minimize setup issues.
• Battery and electronics come pre-installed so you can program immediately on arrival.

What arrives in the box, and what should I expect from build quality?

This purchase contains two fully assembled keyless entry remotes with electronics and batteries already installed. MechanMagic checks each unit before shipping to ensure button response and radio transmission meet expected standards.

• Package includes: 2 x MechanMagic keyless entry remotes, pre-installed battery and electronics.
• Buttons: three-button layout for lock, unlock, and panic/aux functions matching original remote layout.
• Quality control: each remote is professionally pre-tested for signal and function before dispatch.
• Note: shells and internals are brand-new replacements, not refurbished originals.

Are there any limitations I should be aware of before buying?

Yes. These remotes are intended for vehicles that originally used the GQ43VT20T style fob and are not universal. Push-start/engine-start Toyota models are not supported. Verify exact part numbers and your vehicle’s year range before purchasing.

• Not suitable for smart-key or push-to-start vehicles—only regular keyed ignitions.
• Double-check your vehicle’s original FCC ID or part number to confirm match.
• If unsure, use the product fitment tool or consult a locksmith/dealer for confirmation.
• Some models will need paid dealer key programming; factor that into total replacement cost.

Who is this for? The MechanMagic 2-pack is a practical choice for Toyota owners who need a cost-effective replacement for lost or faulty GQ43VT20T three-button remotes, want two matched remotes for convenience, and prefer units that arrive ready to program. It’s best for drivers of compatible Tundra, Tacoma, Sienna, Sequoia, and Highlander models with standard keyed ignitions who can self-program or have access to dealer/locksmith programming.
