Meguiar's M67 Marine/RV One-Step Compound 32oz — Restores Gelcoat & Removes Oxidation

Meguiar's M67 Marine/RV One-Step Compound is a 32oz polishing compound formulated to remove moderate oxidation, light scratches, stains and water spots from fiberglass and gelcoat while restoring gloss and color.

Designed for boats and RVs, this one-step compound combines cutting and polishing action so you can clean, correct, and shine in fewer passes. It works on gelcoat, fiberglass, and other glossy marine/RV surfaces and can be applied by hand, dual-action polisher, or rotary buffer. The formula targets oxidation and surface defects without aggressive thinning, revealing improved color depth and a high-gloss finish.

How will this compound improve a faded gelcoat on my boat?

Regular exposure to sun and water dulls gelcoat over time. M67 mechanically removes oxidized and weathered layers to reveal the underlying color and restore surface reflectivity—no harsh stripping required.

• Removes moderate oxidation and chalking
• Lifts embedded stains and water-spot marks
• Restores color saturation and surface gloss

Can I use it on an RV exterior and what application tools work best?

Yes. The compound is formulated for both fiberglass RV surfaces and boat gelcoat. It’s versatile for hand application, dual-action polishers for safe do-it-yourself use, or rotary buffers for faster leveling by experienced users.

• Apply by hand for small areas or touch-ups
• Dual-action polisher for safe, even results
• Rotary buffer for heavier oxidation and faster correction

Will this product remove scratches and swirls without harming clearcoat or gelcoat?

Meguiar's M67 is formulated to cut through light to moderate scratches and swirl marks while refining the surface for a polished finish. It is intended for gelcoat and fiberglass; follow product instructions and test a small area if unsure.

• Designed to remove light scratches and swirl marks
• Balances cutting power with polishing agents for a glossy finish
• Patch-test recommended on older finishes

How long before I see durable shine and do I need a follow-up wax or sealant?

The compound delivers immediate visual improvement and a high-gloss surface, but polishing is a restorative step rather than long-term protection. For sustained gloss and weather resistance, apply a marine-grade wax or sealant after compounding.

• Immediate enhancement of gloss and color depth
• Follow with wax or sealant for UV and water protection
• Reapply maintenance polish or sealant periodically

Who is this for: Meguiar's M67 Marine/RV One-Step Compound is aimed at boat owners, RV enthusiasts, professional detailers, and DIYers who want to restore faded fiberglass or gelcoat without a multi-step process. It’s ideal if you need a versatile, single-product correction that works by hand or machine and prepares surfaces for long-term protection.
