Metra Dash Kit for 2014–2019 Nissan Versa & Note — Single-DIN 2in Install, Matte-Black Pocket

Metra 99-7621 is a precision dash kit that allows a 2" (single-DIN) aftermarket radio to be installed cleanly into 2014–2019 Nissan Versa and Nissan Note dashboards while filling the lower cavity with a built-in pocket.

If you want to replace the factory head unit in a compatible Nissan Versa or Note with a slimmer single-DIN aftermarket radio, this Metra dash kit provides the finished opening, hardware and aesthetic match needed for a professional-looking installation. The kit is molded from durable ABS and finished in a matte black that blends with the vehicle’s interior trim. It includes the brackets and instructions installers need, plus a pocket to occupy the extra vertical space beneath a 2" radio for small-item storage.

How does the 99-7621 make a single-DIN radio fit a double-DIN opening?

The kit creates a tailored frame and support structure that holds a 2" tall aftermarket radio securely while filling the leftover cavity below. It provides mounting brackets and a pocket panel so the final installation looks factory-installed rather than improvised.

• Precisely dimensioned opening for standard 2" single-DIN radios.
• Included mounting brackets and hardware for correct alignment.
• Lower storage pocket installs below the radio to fill unused space.

Will the finish and fit match my vehicle’s dashboard?

This dash kit is manufactured from high-quality ABS and coated in a scratch-resistant matte black to visually harmonize with Nissan factory surfaces. The shape and contours are engineered to provide a near-original appearance when installed correctly.

• Matte black paint resists scuffs and blends with factory trim.
• ABS construction offers the rigidity and edge detail expected in OEM-style parts.
• Edges and mounting points tailored for a factory-like fit and finish.

What additional parts and support will I need to complete the installation?

Basic hardware and a detailed instruction sheet are included; however, vehicle-specific wiring and antenna adapters are sold separately so you can make proper electrical and radio connections without cutting factory harnesses.

• Wiring harness: Metra 70-7552 (required, sold separately).
• Antenna adapter: Metra 40-NI12 (required, sold separately).
• Installation instructions and a tech support number for guidance seven days a week.

Is this kit compatible with my car model and year?
