NEW SUN 4-Way Flat to 6-Way Round Trailer Adapter — 12" Pre-Wired Harness with Mounting Bracket, Zinc Die-Cast Socket

The NEW SUN 4-way flat to 6-way round trailer adapter converts a 4-pin flat vehicle connector into a 6-pin round socket with a durable 12" pre-wired harness and mounting bracket.

If you need to tow trailers or accessories that use different connector styles, this adapter makes the changeover quick and reliable. Built with a zinc die-cast 6-pin socket, pure copper pins and corrosion-resistant wiring, the assembly is engineered for repeated hookups and outdoor exposure. A spring-loaded dust cover keeps moisture and debris out, while the included bracket and 12" harness provide enough length and mounting options for brake controllers, backup wiring, or hot wires.

How does this adapter simplify trailer hookups?

Instead of rewiring your trailer or swapping harnesses, plug the 4-way flat from your vehicle into the adapter and use the 6-way round socket on the trailer side. The adapter is pre-wired so installation is plug-and-play for most standard trailer lighting circuits. It reduces time spent on the road and minimizes connector mismatches at the hitch.

• Pre-wired 4-flat to 6-pin round socket for immediate use
• 12" harness length gives room for adding extra wires or controls
• Mounting bracket secures the adapter near the hitch for convenience

Will this hold up to weather and corrosion?

The adapter combines a zinc die-cast housing with pure copper connector pins and weather-resistant wiring to fight rust and electrical degradation. The spring-loaded dust cover seals the socket when not in use, reducing moisture entry and dirt buildup. These features extend functional life in outdoor and marine environments without requiring complex maintenance.

• Zinc die-cast 6-pin socket for rust-resistant durability
• Pure copper pins for reliable conductivity over time
• Spring-loaded dust cover keeps out water and debris

Is installation difficult and what tools or skills do I need?

Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with trailer connectors: the unit arrives pre-wired and ready to attach to a standard 4-way flat plug. The bracket and harness simplify mounting and routing, and basic hand tools are typically all that’s required. If you’re unsure about vehicle-specific wiring colors, consult a wiring chart or a technician.

• Pre-wired harness minimizes splicing or extra wiring
• Bracket included for secure, neat mounting at the hitch
• Suitable for DIY installation with common hand tools

What compatibility should I check before buying?

Confirm your vehicle uses a standard 4-way flat plug and your trailer accepts a 6-way round socket; this adapter bridges those two common standards. Verify the harness length (12") fits your mounting location and that you have room to attach the bracket. If your trailer requires supplemental circuits for brakes or aux power, the extra harness length provides room to add those connections.

• Compatible with standard 4-way flat vehicle connectors
• Provides a 6-pin round socket for trailers using that format
• 12" harness allows attachment of brake or auxiliary wiring where needed

Who is this for: This NEW SUN adapter is aimed at owners of trucks, SUVs, and towing vehicles who need a fast, robust way to connect 4-way flat outputs to trailers or accessories that use a 6-way round socket. It fits do-it-yourself installers, fleet vehicles, and part-time haulers who want corrosion-resistant materials, a dust-protected socket and a tidy bracketed installation. If you regularly switch trailers or carry aftermarket brake controllers and backup wiring, the 12" harness and durable construction make this a practical, low-maintenance solution.
