Nilight SAE Extension Cables 2-Pack 12ft — 16AWG Weather-Resistant Leads with Dust Caps

This pair of 12-foot extension leads uses 16AWG copper conductors and universal SAE two-pin connectors to give you a quick-disconnect solution whenever your charger, solar panel or accessory needs a longer reach. The harness is built for flexibility and repeated use, with color-coded red and black leads for positive and negative polarity and protective caps to keep connectors clean and dry during storage.

How will these SAE extension cables make my charging set-up easier?

The Nilight extensions let you position a charger or solar panel farther from the vehicle or battery without splicing or custom wiring. Quick SAE plugs allow fast connect/disconnect while preserving polarity, and the 12-foot length reduces strain on cords and keeps equipment in convenient locations.

• 12-foot reach for flexible placement
• Quick SAE male/female connectors for tool-free hookups
• Red/black color coding prevents reverse polarity mistakes
• Suitable for chargers, maintainers, solar leads and accessories

Is the wire durable enough for outdoor use on motorcycles and RVs?

Yes — the cable uses 16AWG copper with a flexible, heavy-duty jacket designed to withstand repeated routing and outdoor conditions. Each SAE connector includes a dust cap to shield contacts from moisture and dirt when not connected, which helps maintain reliable conductivity over time.

• 16AWG copper conductors for low-resistance power transfer
• Flexible insulation resists kinking and abrasion during use
• Dust caps protect connectors from rain, dust and corrosion

Will these extensions work with my solar panel, battery tender or motorcycle accessory?

The Nilight SAE extensions use standard two-pin SAE terminals that match most portable chargers, maintainers and many solar panel leads. They’re intended as generic extension leads — compatibility depends on your equipment using SAE quick-disconnect ports.

• Standard SAE two-pin connectors for broad compatibility
• Designed for battery tenders, solar panels, motorcycles, cars and RVs
• Works with most devices that accept SAE quick-release harnesses

How do I install and care for these extension cables?

Installation is plug-and-play: match the SAE connectors, and ensure polarized red-to-red and black-to-black connections. For longer life, keep unused connectors capped, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends, and store coiled in a dry place when not in use.

• Plug SAE male into female — no tools required
• Use dust caps when disconnected to prevent contamination
• Avoid tight bends and secure cable to prevent chafing
