OBDMONSTER LED Battery Level Indicator is a 10-segment universal battery meter that displays remaining charge for 12V–72V systems, designed for golf carts and other vehicles.
This compact, easy-to-read battery monitor gives an immediate visual readout of a battery pack's state of charge using a 10-segment LED bar graph. Built to work with a wide range of chemistries—including lead-acid, lithium-ion and lithium iron phosphate—and voltages from 12V up to 72V, it helps you plan charging and avoid unexpected power loss. The display includes one red, two yellow and seven green LEDs, plus a bright backlight and a PVC waterproof protector for outdoor use.
The meter converts the pack voltage to a 10-segment visual scale where each LED represents roughly 10% of remaining charge. Green LEDs indicate healthy charge levels, yellow indicates mid-range, and red warns of low battery. This makes it simple to gauge when to stop using the vehicle or plug in for recharge.
This indicator is built as a universal voltage reader that supports 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, and 72V systems. It works with common battery chemistries—lead-acid, sealed wet cells, lithium-ion packs, and lithium iron phosphate—so it suits golf carts, boats, RVs, ATVs and similar vehicles. It’s especially marketed for popular golf-cart platforms like EZGO and Club Car.
Installation is straightforward: you can hook it up for direct monitoring or use the key-switch connection so it powers with the vehicle. The unit includes installation hardware and a reverse-polarity protection design to prevent damage if wires are accidentally swapped. Low idle current (about 5 mA max) minimizes parasitic drain when parked.
If the display remains full after the battery is used, the most common reason is an incorrect voltage range setting or wiring setup. The gauge includes adjustment codes—follow the instruction figure to select the proper voltage scale. If issues continue, OBDMONSTER offers support and troubleshooting resources.
Who is this for? This LED battery level indicator is suited for golf cart owners, fleet managers, and recreational vehicle users who need a simple, visible way to track battery state-of-charge across multiple voltages and chemistries. If you want a low-power, weather-resistant gauge to mount on dashboards or consoles—compatible with EZGO, Club Car and many other platforms—this universal meter offers clear visual feedback and basic protection features to keep your battery monitoring straightforward and reliable.
Q: Does this meter work with lithium and lead-acid batteries?
