OCM Brand Extra Large Car Duster - Wax-Infused Cotton Head, Solid Wood Handle with Storage Cover

OCM Brand's Premium Extra Large Car Duster is a wax-infused, high-thread-count cotton duster with a durable solid wood handle and storage cover designed to lift dust and keep vehicle surfaces showroom-clean between washes.

Keep your car looking freshly detailed without frequent full washes: this extra large duster uses densely packed, wax-treated cotton threads to pick up and trap dust, dirt particles, and light pollen from paint, glass and interior surfaces. The long, varnished solid wood handle gives reach and balance for fast, controlled passes while the heavy-gauge vinyl storage cover protects the head when not in use. It’s built for regular maintenance by enthusiasts and professional detailers who want an efficient way to maintain a polished finish.

How does the extra large cotton head remove dust without scratching?

The duster’s cotton threads are soft and wax-infused to glide over surfaces, capturing dust instead of rubbing it around. The high thread count increases surface contact so particles embed in the fibers rather than abrade paint or trim.

• Wax-infused 100% cotton threads reduce friction and boost pickup.
• Extra rows of threads increase collection surface area.
• Gentle action safe on clear coat, glass and polished metal when used as directed.

How does the solid wood handle improve control and durability?

The marine-varnished solid wood handle is shaped for an ergonomic grip and balanced reach, making it easier to dust rooflines, hoods and lower panels without strain. The varnish resists moisture and oils, prolonging the handle’s life in garage or outdoor storage.

• Solid wood construction for strength and lightweight handling.
• Marine varnish resists wear from repeated use.
• Extended reach for roofs, trunks and hard-to-reach angles.

What surfaces and situations is this duster best for?

This duster excels for quick maintenance between washes: it removes dust, pollen, light dirt and surface debris from painted panels, glass, chrome and interior hard surfaces. It is not intended to remove heavy mud, sticky deposits or abrasive grit—those require a full wash first to avoid scratching.

• Ideal for daily or weekly dusting to preserve a freshly detailed look.
• Use on exterior paint, windows, chrome and smooth interior panels.
• Avoid use on heavily soiled or sandy surfaces to prevent abrasion.

How do I store and care for the duster to keep it performing well?

After use, shake the duster outdoors to dislodge loose debris, then slip it into the included heavy-gauge vinyl storage cover to protect the head from dust and moisture. Periodically hand-wash the cotton head with mild detergent if it becomes soiled, then air-dry fully before returning it to the cover.

• Shake out dust outdoors before storage.
• Hand-wash gently when needed; do not machine-dry.
• Store in the vinyl cover in a cool, dry place to preserve wax finish.
